WARNING! This mod contains optional nudity. To remove optional nudity see section REMOVING NUDITY at the bottom of this page.

Configure three armour schematics. Replaces Vanguard Heavy Mail schematic, Enchanter Mail Schematic and Hunter Mail Schematic.

Some appearances might not be available without other DLC

  • Stats,
  • Passive Ability &
  • Appearance.

[Note: At the time of writing, Frosty daimod compatibility is unreliable, so it's possible that this mod may not work with Frosty - I post the instructions here in the hope that one day this note will be obsolete]
To Use This Mod: Download Frosty or ModManager

How to Use
  • In Frosty, the mod's menu will display when you install it, drag the bottom edge of the window down, configure.
  • In ModManager, click the mod's name, click configure, drag the bottom edge of the window down, configure, click save, merge.

If you want to put The Divine on a medium human female, please use the optional patch.
If you want to put Solas' unique armour on a medium or heavy elf male, please use the optional patch.

Please Note
The new recipes (AKA schematics) will appear at the top of the armours list.
]The recipes will move to the weight category of the Appearance you have chosen, for example, if you choose a light appearance, the recipe will be in the light armour section. This is true of all three recipes and the original weight is irrelevant - the fact that there are three weights of recipe being changed is a legacy thing that I was originally working with, but it no longer matters, enjoy three armours of any weight!
Upgrades (if selected on the menu) will be for the weight of the CHOSEN appearance

Where to Acquire In-Game Can be purchased from the Redcliffe Armor and Upgrades Merchant in the Hinterlands for 199 Currency (Inquisition). Can be purchased from Emporium's Schematics in the Black Emporium for 578 Currency (Inquisition). Can be purchased from Emporium's Schematics in the Black Emporium for 492 Currency (Inquisition).
You can also get the armour at Seggrit's shop with this mod:

Greyed Out Button
MamaJMarie has discovered the cause of the Greyed Out Button problem. You must use at least two different material types!

Multiple Abilities Quirk
Fenix9514 tested this and came to the following conclusions:
If you make a weapon, then save the game, then re-merge with other passive abilities selected, the weapon retains both abilities.
I believe the abilities are stored somewhere on the save file because deleting every merged file did not help. I have loaded up a savegame prior to installing this mod and the [weapons] (even the ones i haven't crafted) reverted back to normal). So [the issue is that abilities are stored in] the savefile[.]

Known Incompatibilities
This mod conflicts with "Armor - No Class Restrictions Remade". Put this mod below that one on  the load order so it overwrites some of that mod's files.

Requested by MaverickSY19. Thanks for discussing the project with me.

Technical: These replace Recipes 311b Heavy, Medium and Light and their respective EquipTemplates.

I want to thank everybody involved with the Mod Manager and Mod Maker projects, especially Galaxy/Eham, Zhentar, Dawnless Sky, Chrono414,
Tirnoney, esCanor, Dheuster and VoidRealms for their tutorials, without which I couldn't have done any DAI modding.
Thanks to ethicalinfant, plus electricfish and munchyfly on Discord. drag6295 for belief that I could actually do something,
I also want to thank Nexusmods.
Even more thanks to people who have taken the trouble to report issues with the mods! It is only through your efforts that things get discovered and fixed.
Thanks to dhague2cfo and pdporter for testing and feedback on the v0.4 problem with this mod.
Thanks to Fenix9514 for testing and diagnosing the multiple-abilities quirk on my configurable weapon mods.
Thanks again to MamaJMarie who discovered the cause of the Greyed Out Button problem.
I do not apologise for my crappy, inefficient scripts - the coding snobs can bite me!

Manually Changing default values:
Get Notepad++ from here: (DO NOT USE NORMAL NOTEPAD, it will break the mod)
Open the daimod in Notepad++
Scroll down to this code...

ConfigElementsList.AddIntElement( "SOS", "Slot 1 Size", 5, 1, 99);
The numbers at the end of the line are what you are looking for (highlighted in bright green), here 5 is the default, 1 is min, 99 is max (any bigger and the game doesn't let you craft it)
ConfigElementsList.AddEnumElement( "STM", "Slot 2 Material",typeof(Material), 1);
Materials are 0=Cloth, 1=Leather, 2=Metal
ConfigElementsList.AddEnumElement( "STT", "Slot 2 Type ",typeof(Slottype), 0);
Slottypes are 0=Offense 1=Utility
ConfigElementsList.AddEnumElement( "Hat0", "Templar Helmet ",     typeof(Appearance), 0);
The 0 at the end is the number of the appearance on the dropdown menu (starts at 0)
Remember to File > Save from the menu

Get Notepad++ from here: (DO NOT USE NORMAL NOTEPAD, it will break the mod)
Open the daimod in Notepad++
Scroll down to this code... (or search for it)

{ "c2a6094b0e71de4bbc022159cbd4f62c"  ,  "45675c22061c6a4d98c6da152eec4170"  ,  "L" },//_54_naked,
Copy the values in inverted commas (or Quotes, as the americans say) from another line and just overwrite the naked ones.
You can, alternatively, just copy/paste this line over that entire line;

{ "cf3a003ff4a6aa4993851649404c3d94"  ,  "54b74e425852a2459954afeff89b6cf5"  ,  "L" },
That will make the appearance give solas hoodless (the line above) instead of Naked, although naked will still appear on the menu.
If you wish to change the word naked on the menu, that's nearer to the top, and on a line that just says,
That's the actual menu text. Do not put invalid characters on that line. You can change the name of Naked to something else like;
_54_Nothing, or
You must have the underscore between words and at the front and a comma at the end. The ModManager will give errors if this is not the case.

All of the files are very similar, so do the same in each, please don't go pasting great amounts of text, despite the files looking very similar at first glance, there are some subtle differences (default menu items in the top part of the code and Upgrade Set in the bottom part [edit] I think the three files are almost identical now that I've made the Upgrade Set depend on your input (early versions didn't do that) - ofc they have different Daimods attached to them (i.e. the assets that are to be edited by the script), but iirc the script itself is the same in each file now).
if the materials are all the same it'll stay greyed out. you have to have at least 2 different types of materials. Found this out the hard way, but played around with it a little bit.
