Hey all! I wanted to give a big thank you to everyone that has supported me. It took some time, but I'm finally employed full-time. Unfortunately, I won't be making any more mods for DAI, but I do look forward to modding the next Dragon Age. Hope to see some of you then.
And to those of you having issues getting my mods to work, try the following:
Go your game folder, where Dragon Age Inquisition is installed. One way to get there is to right-click on the game's shortcut icon (the one you click to launch the game), click on 'Properties' and then click on 'Open File Location.' When there, look for the 'Update' folder. Inside that folder is another folder called 'Patch.' Within the 'Patch' folder is a file called 'package.' Right-click that file and open it with Notepad. Where it says 'Version 11,' you change that to 'Version 12.' Save and close. You should now be able to run mods that require 'Patch 12.'
Eh...it won't expand it further, but Eagle Eye also upgrades Long Shot for any rogue using that ability, so it might still be worth the perk purchase, depending on your play style/build.
Don't know if the mod author is still around but wondering if it would be possible to add feature to silence the search feature too? The sound gets annoying and I can already visually see what it interacts with when the object is outlined or I see the directional indicator for discoverable items.
BioWare developers sitting around the meeting table:
—We thought we're going to start selling gaming keyboards. What can we do to sell more keyboards?
—I have an idea! Let's make gamers spend 200 hours of gameplay pressing the V key, which is also far away from the WASD keys, and then we can sell sports wristbands as well.
Thank you very much for the mod. 100% quality of life.
I also switched from the main file to the one that only makes stuff glow/blink for a few seconds. That long drawn out glow was killin' me. I like to pick some stuff up, then refresh the glow so I can see which "dots" I've cleared off the minimap. IJS ;)

Hope this helps!
I got one question , does this mod also work with the increased search radious from inquisition perks for a huge bonus?

Then download search radius mod from nexus. Extract it anywhere you want.
Add file to Frosty, apply and launch the game through the launch button in mod manager.
