In order to use the Isabela recolour mod, you need to use it with either the PJ or the Griffon armour replacers I've uploaded in the optional files section. Apparently the recolouring does not work with the other MP armour replacers on the nexus.

The recolouring DOES work with my Immersive Starting Armours mod.

n.b. As there seems to be some confusion about these things, I should clarify that the PJs, the colouriser and the armour replacer will work throughout the base game, Trespasser, Jaws of Hakkon and most of The Descent (apart from the one section "loot the corpses" where all mods have to be disabled"). This is the case for all my mods as they are hex edits, not texture replacers.

The aim of this mod is to allow you to recolour armour and clothing that isn't normally tintable. I'll be adding more in the near future.

As with the new version of Opulent Tints, you enter the colours you want in RGB format when you merge the mod. Entering "default" in the text field will set the colour to whatever the original was. If you want to set your own defaults, see the small guide I wrote in the description and the attached image in my Opulent Tints mod.

If you need some help with RGB codes, here's a little colour chart that might help, or try this RGB Colour wheel.

Example: 134:2:2 - putting this in the colour box would give you a reasonably strong shade of red.

1. Formal Wear

This mod may not work with human male inquisitors in Trespasser.  I cannot fix this problem with the current version of the modding tools.

This in no way compares with the beautiful retextures that are already on the Nexus: for starters, you can't recolour the pauldrons or the gloves. What you can do however is give yourself, your companions and your advisers whatever weird and wonderful colour combination you like for your trip to Halamshiral. See the images for a few examples.

The main version will also colour the inquisitors formal wear in Trespasser but neither mod will affect adviser's outfits in Trespasser. This is because Mod Manager does not yet support merging of those DLC only assets.

The optional Trespasser version of the Formal Wear mod only affects the Inquisitors "special" formal wear for the final cutscenes of the DLC. The Trespasser version requires Trespasser to be installed to work.

Default values for Formal Wear are: Main colour 121:11:3, highlights 91:46:21, band 12:41:112

n.b. The "highlights" colour is a little subtle, but dial it up and you will notice it particularly around the buttonholes. It corresponds with the leather slot when crafting formal wear.

2. Isabela MP Armours

This one changes the colours of both variants of Isabela's multiplayer armour and the Admiral coat. They're a little sensitive to recolouring and I've made some adjustments to the script to attempt to compensate. See the sample image for what happens if you overdo the RGB values. Horrible!

The fourth colour parameter changes the scarf on the Admiral coat but doesn't appear to change anything on the other two armours. The description for the other colours should be clear enough if a little cramped given the limited room in the configuration window.

I've set the default colours to be an approximation of Catriona's coat.

Unfortunately, some people have reported that this mod does not work with the MP armour mods on the nexus. In the case of MP Armors for the Inquisitor, I think it's because it edits the mesh files directly. I've uploaded Isabela PJ replacers in the Optional files section. You can use them with any invisible armor mod, or as a Skyhold PJ. They replace the Skyhold PJ for HF inquisitors only. I've also uploaded some Griffon armor replacers for HF inquisitors. The armour will retain it's normal appearance on all other races.

The Griffon armour is class restricted by default so you'll need Armor - No Class Restrictions Remade, the Trespasser optional file if you want to unlock it.

The armours cannot be worn by elves, dwarves or qunari.

3. Assassin MP Armour

Changes the colour of Argent's MP Assassin armour. There are other npcs in the game who wear this armour and they will also be recoloured. I'm going to assume like the Isabela armours that this doesn't work with the MP armours already on the nexus and upload an optional PJ and Griffon armour replacer you can use. Obviously it can't be used at the same time as the Isabela Griffon replacer. This one also changes the appearance of the armour for Cass, Viv and Sera.

Again you'll need you'll need Armor - No Class Restrictions Remade , the Trespasser optional file if you want to use the armour with warriors and mages.

I can't make it wearable by any other races.

Conflicts

Because of the way in which this mod works (by directly editing the mesh asset), it is incompatible with any mod that also affects the mesh. i.e. the shape of the armour of clothing. It should still work with most retextures although you may find the colour results a little odd.

Isabela MP Armours works fine with Admiral Coat - No Sword by flowerbabytrevelyan because that mod edits the texture and not the mesh.
