About this mod

This mod replaces the few basic heavy armor appearances for the Inquisitor with the ones from Cassandra. Basically it changes your stuff to look like hers.

INTRODUCTION:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First off, this is my very first mod ever, so please be patient. If you're not comfortable with that or don't want to partake in the potentially broken work of an amateur, move on.

Now, I was following a guide on how to replace the PJs for the Inquisitor with another Companion's version and familiarizing myself with the mod-maker, when I found a mod called "Live Like Viv", which replaces all light armor with Viviennes appearance. That inspired me to try something similiar, but with a different type of armor. I soon enough ran into problems since I couldn't find which armor I was looking for in the mod maker because they have very non-descriptive... descriptions. Again, I only just came into contact with the mod maker, so I didn't know what I was looking for in detail. So I decided to just do all of them.
This was originally just a project for myself, but it turned out to be working, so I decided to share it here. Someone might be interested.

DESCRIPTION:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This mod replaces the basic armor types for the Inquisitor in the heavy armor category with the appearance of Cassandra. Basically it changes your stuff to look like hers. This ONLY works for human female Inquisitors and there's nothing I can do about it (as far as I know). It will only affect the generic armor types that can be found in loot or crafted, all unique armor shapes are untouched.

INSTALLATION:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just merge it together with your other mods in the mod manager. If you don't know how to do that, you can read about it on the mod manager's page.

HOW I DID IT:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Basically I replaced the Inquisitors appearance hashes with the matching ones from Cassandra, effectively copying and pasting Cassandra's appearance onto the player. Just her body though, you keep your face.

WHY I DID IT:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said above, mostly to see if I COULD. But after about 500 hours of playtime I also got bored looking at the same few armor types in the game all the time (not counting special or unique armor, or the dlc, for that matter).

REQUIREMENTS:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
None. But I recommend using it with Armor - No Class Restrictions Remade so you can wear heavy armor with every class.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I tested this mod with every class and multiple armor schematics and played with it for quite some time and I couldn't find any problems. I experienced a small arm movement glitch during the cutscene after Haven's destruction which could be related to my mod, but I'm not sure. It doesn't impact anything in the game aside from a few seconds of visual glitching though so I'd say it's harmless.

Lastly, if you find ANYTHING that's not working, conflicting or is otherwise broken, please let me know and I will look into it as best as I can. It is my first mod and also my first attempt at hex-editing after all, so there's bound to be something that's not working right. I haven't encountered anything yet, but who knows.
