Can I have both versions of the mod installed at the same time?
Like, to prevent the issue with the trespasser DLC. Or do I need to use only one?

A word of advice: if you want to use this mod, don't equip Dorian with Battlemage Cowl. His face texture will occasionally got messed up (turns to completely black or full of colorful squares) even with "Helmet Removal" enabled.

The mod adds the stubble but not not remove that silly mustache...

In some cutscenes - when he appears at the Haven gates and inside the Chantry that I can recall but there may be others, his moustache scoots up into his nose and his goatee into his mouth. Looks real silly. How do I fix it?

I am wondering if there is a chance to add an option of DitR without moustache as shown on the picture? The original razor mod cannot be installed with the current mod manager, it is in a wrong format.

Thank you for the module... two years too late, but still very much ty!

This is super late and probably unhelpful to you now, but I figured I'd post this here in case anyone else like me comes wandering by; the mod to remove the mustache has been remade and can be found at this link:

just a heads up, it's not working with Jaw of Hakkon dlc sadly, I had to disable the mod before entering the dlc area, I thought only Trespasser has issues with "non shiny" mods, tested both versions

The optional file has untouched spec maps, so it should be fine.

Is it possible to make an optional file for DLC w/o the sweaty shine?

Late answer, but just in case anyone's wondering - it's not possible, the nice matte look is (more or less) what breaks the DLC.

Do I need to start a new game for this to work?

Nope - you can pop the mod in and out of your game at any time, as you like (I often mess with the appearance of characters according to what's going on in-story - it's total-immersion OCD nerd heaven).

I do that too. So a character (or my Inky) likes to change their hair, or... something.

TL; DR CHECK LOAD ORDER MAYBE

I'm late to the DAI fandom, and I'm coming from heavy Skyrim mods, I'm not at all a modder so most of this is trial and error and searching forums for solutions. But I had an issue, and figured something out, and just wanted to comment here just in case others had the same issue.

It never dawned on me that Load Order might be an issue with DAI MM, as is the case with Skyrim MO. Your GLORIOUS stubble and dimples for Dorian, and Kalaheria's Mohawk mod were my two newest additions, but my game wasn't loading (as in I left it on all night while I slept and Skyhold never loaded, perpetual loading screen). So I first moved Kalaheria's mod to the bottom of my load order, that didn't work, and then I moved it to the top, just under the Official Patch, and it worked. I moved yours under Kalaheria's. They're both in the game. Loaded just fine. Magical cutscenes work just fine. I am ridiculously happy.

I'm not sure what it was specifically that caused these two to conflict with the rest of my mods, but since my MM loaded the alphabetized folder in that order, I can say the following mods were above these two Dorian mods, and now are below them.
    Bi Cullen Mod by Atherisz
Blackwall Romance Mod by, I think, Borglet
    Your delicious Breaking Badwall mod
    Craftorama by Badken
    Crossroads Vendor by HMM
    Dorian In Black by Hazevamp

In retrospect.... I probably don't need all those romance mods in there.... I haven't even used all of them..... but there they are...
So everything works. I'm ridiculously happy. And I just wanted to add this potential solution in case anyone else comes looking. I'm also posting this on Kalaheria's mod just in case. They're so gorgeous together.... Thank you so much. <3
