Just joking You earned your rest! Thank you again
I plan to do Geralt and Ciri and then Iorveth in the aforementioned order. So there will be more to come
As for Triss.... I did think about it.... but the thing is I really really REALLY dislike her character. And the amount of time I've spent on Yen, I doubt I can spend so much time on a character I dislike..... But I'll see how I will feel after I've done everyone else...
Why do you hate Triss if i may ask? :p I like her more in 3 than i did in 2. I think Yennefer is stunning, she is more beautiful..But Triss is sweeter.
In the books Yennefer and Geralt have alot of backstory which lasted throughout all 7 tomes, and the only thing Triss did was lie and try to get between them, knowing what was going on between the two, their little family and the whole relationship with Ciri as their adopted daiughter. Which is perfectly fine from the narrative standpoint, but doesnt mean I had to like her for that
Then in 1 and 2 game knowing Geralt's backstory she is literally shoved into the player's face as a default LI, and even if you avoid her in the first game choosing Shani, you still wake up in bed with her in the second game. What was the point of adding Shani if the game forgot about her? Anyways I feel like that about all characters that are forced to have a particulr relationship with my protagonist. Like Liara in Mass Effect for example. So when playing the game, after reading the books, I was like - damnit woman I've read the story, I know whats going on, why are you here? Why cant I avoid youcompletely? I dont want that relationship! And the books strongly hinted that Geralt and Yen did have real love, so I feel that breaking something like that is just mean. i mean she's okay as a character but not a character that I like.
I didn't read the books, which i regret because i hear there is so much backstory in it.. After reading your comment i regret it even more I do agree that Triss was forced upon Geralt, and his love for Yenn was/is more real.
Still..i like them both.
I understand your point of view My problem is that I already came into the game biased so I was like - wtf woman, I don't want you here
Funny I collected every single card out there except Triss they were so beautiful
Tbh I just started W3 few days ago but I'm moving really slowly. It's bit overwhelming, after so many hours (600!) in DA:I. And due to my business start I have little time for playing and every day is sooo exhausting...
Btw how is your business starting?
And how are you finding TW3 so far?
Excellent!
