i've been giving some thought to this inky. her name is officially ioai, and i headcanon her to be 17 years old, just shy of her 18th birthday (what a birthday present, right? the end of the world). ioai is quite the jokester and tends to feel awkward in any situation. she never really spent time around her clan so she isn't that great at communicating with others. ioai is, however, very skilled at befriending animals, which she prefers over anyone else. she does take a liking to varric the longer she speaks to him in haven, though. varric has nicknamed her "duck/duckling" due to the fact that she's still young and requires guidance on many (if not all) things. ioai is proud of, but sort of detached from, her heritage. she takes pride in being dalish, but she's also open to listening when she finds that the dalish are misinformed. that being said, when someone directly insults her heritage or makes her feel belittled because of what she believes *coughsolascough*, she gets a little scrappy.
