  • Incompatibilities between active skill upgrades (i.e. some upgrades cannot be active at the same time)

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unfortunately the upgrades were not made to be compatible with one another. Currently the following items have been identified as incompatible. Thank you very much to the users who have tested and identified these items. More details can be found in the POSTS section where the users posted their findings. Please note that the list is not complete at the moment.

I plan to upgrade this mod to set upgrades that are incompatible to one another to Toggle. And let the other run in parallel.

  • Information

No Falling SnowFor frosty or dai mod manager. Two options - one to remove the animation of falling snow completely, and one to just remove snow from face. Neither remove already-fallen snow.

    FAQ
Q1: What do the DAIMM and frosty in the file names mean?
A1: DAIMM = version of the mod for people using dai mod manager.
Frosty = version of the mod for people using frosty mod manager.

Q2: Do I need to use both the DAIMM and frosty versions of the mod at once?
A2: No, there's no reason to do that.

Q3: What is the difference between the no falling snow and no snow in face files?
A3:  No Falling Snow At All - disables all snow falling from the sky completely, except for those caused by explosions or impacts.

  • Information

No Ash In FaceFor frosty or dai mod manager. Stops ash flying in front of your character and their face when creating them, now the ash flies behind them instead.

    FAQ
Q1: Will this work in the mirror of transformation at the black emporium?
A1: Even without mods, the black emporium does not have this issue. So this mod doesn't edit it.

Q2: Will this work on Hawke?
A2: I didn't notice any ash flying into Hawke's face on an unmodded game so I didn't edit their character creation. But let me know if it is needed.

Q3: What do the DAIMM and frosty in the file names mean?
A3: DAIMM = version of the mod for people using dai mod manager.
Frosty = version of the mod for people using frosty mod manager.

    Q4: Do I need ...

  • Information

Stay Still in CCFor frosty or dai mod manager. Stops characters nodding their head side to side every few seconds during character customization.

Characters will now stand with their head still. They will continue to blink as normal, and their mouth should still move as expected when listening to their voice options.

There are 2 options for the pose the characters can use in character customization, see the FAQ or the video for a comparison.

    FAQ

Q1: Will this work in the mirror of transformation at the black emporium?
A1: Yes, but the natural version will use the stock-still pose at the black emporium.

Q2: Will this mod work when first creating my character?
    A2: Yes.

  • Information

Black Midnight Prayer Gown EF DF HF QFFor frosty or dai mod manager. A black fabric version of the "midnight prayer gown" mod by Ellise. Retextures the wedding dress outfit. 3d-model edit compatible.

    Requires trespasser!

    FAQ
Q1: Do I need both the dai mod manager and frosty mod manager versions of the mod?
A1: No, use one or the other, no need to use both at once as they both do the exact same thing.

Q2: Do I need to download the original midnight prayer gown mod by Ellise to use this one?
A2: No, don't use Ellise's version at the same time as this version, it will turn the gown back to blue.

Q3: Is this compatible with edits to the wedding dress?
A3: The mod should be compatible with any edits to the gown ...

  • Frosty Compatibility

Been away from the mod scene on this game for a bit, but I have come back to check a few things out, and have found out about the Frosty Mod Manager. I just ran some tests to see if my mod was compatible with it, and it seems that everything is working well. There were no conversions needed, so for any Frosty users wanting some bad arse tats to use in their games for Humans, Elves and Dwarves...check out Wyldtats!!!...

  • For the most important stats the Abilities screens are misleading

    (I am not anglophone...).

The character you control in 3-D conditions the other characters statistics and deactivates the non-controlled characters' own Ability bonuses in the Abilities screen!

That is to say, when you change character in Abilities from the character you control in 3-D to an other one, its Abilities' Damage, Cooldown Times and Cost numbers are wrong because they are calculated using the bonuses of the character controlled in 3-D! Astonishing but real!
For example, take two characters; one has a Enhanced Cooldown Amulet and the other doesn't have any cooldown modifier.
    - Open the Abilities screen while controlling the character with the amulet. The cooldown times of its abilities are 10% lower that default. Normal.
    - From ther...

  • NOTES FOR AUTHORS

    01 May 2018, 11:13PM
I wanted this mod to include the companions standing around with the appearance you choose. That sounds easy, right? Wrong. When they're standing around, they're not party members, they're NPCs, so the game loads their gear in a different way.
I'm trying to get PLAYER armour onto the NPCs, -I need to edit the Mesh Sets themselves instead of just making the SpawnTemplate point to different Mesh Sets - Each of the NPCs has a mesh set for when they are "unequipped" i.e. standing around at base. Making the game point to another NPC's mesh set actually worked when I changed Blackwall's to Cole

     - there is no Mesh Set for the player. When I tried to change the armour pieces within the Mesh Sets to models of the Inquisitor's armour as a workaround,...

  • How I did it

So if you want to do this for your self on other items start by reading and following Svarty's tutorials @ https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/daitools/tutorials-f41/

These two are the ones you're after

How to Switch Appearances of Items https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/daitools/how-to-switch-appearances-of-items-t1861.html
How to Change Weapon/Armour/Upgrade Slots (Beginner Tutorial). https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/daitools/how-to-change-weapon-armour-upgrade-slots-beginner-t1850.html

It's not as hard as you'd think once you get your head around it.
First find the recipe of the item you want to edit.

They all have meaningful names but they aren't always the same as their in-game name. So sometimes you have to d...
