There is a known bug with Sebastian's companion quest, "Repentance", that causes the game to freeze upon encountering Lady Harimann and Allure. There is temporary workarounds but no long-term solutions, so I created one.

WARNING! DO NOT PUT THIS IN YOUR OVERRIDE FOLDER LIKE IT'S A MOD! THIS FILE IS INTENDED TO REPLACE A DIFFERENT ONE IN YOUR INSTALL FOLDER!
There is a known bug with Sebastian's companion quest Repentance that causes the game to freeze upon encountering Lady Harimann and Allure. The only fixes are to spam the ESC key to skip the initial cutscene, which is the problem in question, or entirely remove the Legacy DLC folder to be able to see it.
I play Dragon Age 2 at least once a year, and each time I get to that scene I can never remember how to get passed it since it's such a small issue you only encounter once in your playthrough. I wanted a long-term fix, so I made one.
Instructions:
1.) Locate your Dragon Age 2 install folder -- yours might look different than mine -- and then find your Legacy DLC addin patch folder (*:\Program Files\EA Games\Dragon Age II\addins\da2_prc_drk\module\patch).
2.) Replace the patch.rimp file in there with mine.
If you ever repair the game for whatever reason, this will need to be done AGAIN.
