This is a set of 5 simple convenience scripts that instantly add companion gifts to your inventory. No matter which Act the gift is normally obtained in, you can give it to them whenever you want. If it turns into a piece of equipment after you give it to them, you'll also get that. For instance, you can give the Blade of Mercy to Fenris in Act 1 and gain the equippable Blade of Mercy much earlier than would be possible in vanilla. The dialogue from giving gifts typically doesn't mention any specifics about where you found it or how you got it, so it should also not break continuity, if that's important to you. ;)

You can either run a script to gain all the gifts from a certain act or run a script that gives you every gift in the game.

The console must be enabled to run these scripts. If you don't know how, the DA Wiki has a guide.



zz_a2gifts will add every gift from Act 2. Run it by typing "runscript zz_a2gifts" (without quotes) in the console.

zz_a3gifts will add every gift from Act 3. Run it by typing "runscript zz_a3gifts" (without quotes) in the console.

zz_allgifts will add every gift in the game, from all Acts. Run it by typing "runscript zz_allgifts" (without quotes) in the console.



These next two are the gifts for Carver/Bethany you get during the quest "Birthright" in Act 1. They're separated from the others because if you add the gift for the sibling who died, it will stay in your quest log forever. With that being said, there shouldn't be any other glitches. The scripts are:

• zz_carvgift - Run it by typing "runscript zz_carvgift" (without quotes) in the console.
• zz_bethgift - Run it by typing "runscript zz_bethgift" (without quotes) in the console.
  

Installation
Extract the "All Gifts Anytime" folder to your override folder in Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override



Uninstallation
Delete the "All Gifts Anytime" folder from your override folder.
