Got tired of extracting UTIs and scrolling through item_variations.gda every time I wanted to tweak something. :p
This is a modder's resource - a series of charts containing all item variations (including DLCs), useful for changing item appearances. Also text lists of the different armor sets and the variation # for each piece.
On the pictures, "arm" indicates an actual piece of armor, while "full" indicates a unibody appearance (used by the game to override equipped armor appearance, and spawn generic enemies & NPCs).
The letters above each piece indicate what races/genders it can be used for.
Update 1.1 - mostly some corrected typos. If there are any more, please let me know!
Also, the pictures show the diffuse textures only, so appearance in-game is slightly different, especially for weapons with emissive (glow) maps, or clothes with transparency.
Examples of the various tints from tint_override are included as well.
