About this mod

Ever been annoyed at your Tallis dying so much? Yeah, me too. I always found it weird how her armor had zero stats on it. Like, no wonder she dies so often, right? So I decided to create some upgrades for her armor, which you buy at the "Hunting Stores" merchant.

Hello. Never did I think I'd release a mod for Dragon Age II, but here we are.
I don't know if anyone is interested in it, or even cares, but I figured I'd share anyways, just in case.

I was tired of my Tallis always dying first, even after using a Maker's Sigh potion on her to customize her better, so the idea to create some upgrades for her armor came to me. But most of the files in MOTA were encrypted, and she doesn't have any available upgrades anyways, so I had to basically figure out things from scratch to get them to apply to her. And luckily I managed it! Like phew! She really needed some stats!

I mean, it can't just be me who finds it weird she has no stats on her armor, right? Right?! She was very squishy, especially on my game, since I play with 2 mods: the first mod lowers the lvl cap to 25, the second mod bumps the difficulty beyond nightmare and straight to insanity. So my Tallis could really use SOMETHING on her armor. And I wanted them to be in the form of upgrades, and not on her base armor. I felt it was more appropriate to buy the upgrades at that merchant. You know the one, right? She's always waving her arms at us. Wait... don't all the merchants do that? Ah, who cares. That's not the point here.

The upgrades themselves are purely defensive. At the moment, I decided to go with physical defense, magical defense, and then health/stamina leech. But if anyone has any better suggestions, I can always change them. But I kind of liked the combination of these 4 things.

Btw, I did not choose the price on her upgrades. The game did. And the game decided each one was worth at least 1 sovereign. This is no problem for me, since I use the mod to increase the amount of coin my junk is worth, so I'm swimming in cash, as you can see from the screenshots. So be sure to have at least 5 sovereigns on you.

Act 1: No upgrades available.
Act 2: You can only buy 2 upgrades.
Act 3: You can buy all 4 upgrades.

Please do not edit my mod and re-release it as your own. I worked hard to figure out her codes and apply these upgrades to her. You can edit them for your own personal game though. Just please don't re-release it with some altered stats, and claim it's yours.
