6/17/20: 1.2 Version Upload: Tweaked normal maps so hopefully facing the right direction, corrected tongue placement (let me know if it needs to be scootched back a bit), corrected neck placement so it is compatible with DFA, removed emotion textures download and bundled them up properly. Included in optional files the fixed nude mesh for Dwarfs as the default is off-centered.

6/3/20: Uploaded Emotions textures as a separate file since I forgot to include them in both version. Please download if you want the wrinkles when they sneer or get angry. 

Ported Varric's unique headmesh from Dragon Age: Inquisition into Dragon Age 2 with fully functional bones, face animations, and unique face textures including emotions, eyes and hair. 

This mod is totally independent of any other mods. All assets are straight from Bioware with the exception of some modifications to their DA2 emotion masks and norm map to fit to the Varric mesh. Eye textures are from Ellise and additionally included a better looking (in my opinion) Varric texture from her 4k mod.

This mod uses a unique eye and hair mesh/textures for Varric and does not use any tints. Also, if you wish to change Varric's hair, it will have to be a hair specially made for this mesh as obviously, existing hairstyles will not fit. 

The transfer of the mesh was not entirely seamless so there might be some tweaks that need to be made to account for certain animations. The neck seam in particular had to be adjusted to fit his body properly.

Included is a version of his body texture with the chest area made to match his new skin.


Installation

Open the attached .7z file and extract the ERF file "to the following location:

C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override\

(this is the default location, if you have it in a different place, put the file wherever you keep your override)
