Hawke Estate Painting Replacer
This mod replaces one of the paintings in the Hawke Estate with a portrait of Leandra, which is meant to be the one Hawke finds in the Amell Estate. (Technically you only find it if Bethany is alive and you give it to her -- but I figure it's still there, right? So maybe Hawke finds it after they buy the house otherwise.)
What This Does:
Changes either the painting in the main hall of some random nobleman you see all over Kirkwall with the portrait of Leandra, or replaces the painting (the Acerbic Dowager) near your mother's room. That's it! There's nothing more to this mod -- it's just a little idea I had because I thought it would be nice to actually hang the painting in the Estate.
This does NOT replace the texture of any other paintings around Kirkwall -- the random nobleman and the Acerbic Dowager will continue to pop up in various places as intended.
Installation:
Choose either the "Portrait of Your Mother - Main Hall" file or the "Portrait of Your Mother - Mom's Room" file, not both. In the folders, you'll find three different versions, along with a picture of the differences. Choose the file with the portrait you want and place it in your Override. The next time you enter the Hawke Estate, the portrait will be replaced.
If you're swapping between the Main Hall and Mom's Room versions, you might need to make a save with the files out of your Override, just to remove it from the house entirely. Once you have a "clean" save, if you put the new file in your Override, it should work.
Notes:
I did three different versions of the portrait, using three of the presets for Leandra (along with Ellise's Unique High Res Textures for Custom Hawke Families). For her portrait sitting, Leandra was wearing Zimpra's DAI Noble Dress. (Though I somehow messed up the tinting on the necklace, which is why it doesn't look as nice as it does in her mod, oops.)
I'm definitely not an artist, though, and my Photoshop skills are sketchy at best, so my portraits are not spectacular. I won't be offended if someone wants to make better ones, haha.
Update 12-1:
I added three new portrait options in the Optional Files. These should be able to replace any of the current portraits without any issues.
I also added the "Portrait Gallery" -- which is just a bunch of portraits I made by running my screenshots through various art filters. They're lower resolution than the main portraits, and there are also a lot of them (of varying quality), so I just made them as replacers. These are JUST texture replacers, and require one of the main portrait files to work. They can be used with either the Main Hall or Mom's Room portraits.
