About this mod
A vanilla plus preset that enhances what's already there. Modern effects are added using ReShade to bring the game's graphics up to standard!

Pre-Install
This Reshade Preset was made using the Reshade Framework version 3.1.0
Without my future support this and earlier Reshade versions will be the only frameworks this preset will guaranteed function on.
The rest will need to be tested. Happy modding! :)
This is a quick preset I whipped up that brings the vanilla lighting and post-processing effects up to modern standards. You should notice higher quality shadows and lighting, along with more saturation and colour in some areas. Please refer to the images for ingame comparisons. Oh, the blood looks really cool too.
Install
Short Installation (For those who aren't new to Reshade):
1. Go here: https://reshade.me and download the files (specifically the 3.1.0 version). During the installation make sure to
download all the effects the installer asks you to.
2. Download my mod and drop it into your bin_ship folder.
3. Activate it ingame by pressing "shift-F2" and selecting AVTR from the drop-down box.
Detailed Installation (For those who are new to Reshade):
1. Go here: https://reshade.me and click the big pink download button (specifically look for the 3.1.0 version).
2. You'll get a little thingy like this:
When you get the option to select a game just navigate to your "DragonAge2.exe" file in your bin_ship folder. Select it
and install all the effects the installer asks you
3. Download my mod and drop it into your bin_ship folder.
4. Last step is to activate it, which you can do ingame.
When you launch your game the reshade will load in the top left corner. If it doesn't, you did something wrong. Feel free to post the steps you took in the "Post" section of the page and i'll try to get back to you. Wait till the reshade has "Succeeded" and the effects have loaded and press "shift-F2" Here we are:
Step 1
This screen will show up. Click Continue.
Step 2
From here, you press the drop-down box and select AVTR. (note that in the screenshot I labled it as "My Custom Reshade". Yours will be "AVTR".
Step 3
This brings us to our last step. After selecting AVTR, hit the continue buttons on the two screens that pop-up afterwards. Then select finish and click the small cross at the top right corner of the reshade page.
Post-Install
The Reshade should now be active. Feel free to hit ctrl-F2 any time and edit the features that you don't like! (As a sidenote, Reshade sometimes bugs out where you can't click stuff like escape and spacebar. In the event that this happens, just restart the game and everything should be back to normal.)
Uninstall
So, you figured out you don't like the preset and want to get rid of it.
This is how you do that:
1. Delete "AVTR.ini" in your bin_ship folder - This should remove my preset. In order to remove Reshade entirely, move on to step 2.
2. Remove the following files:
reshade-shaders (folder)
dxgi.dll
dxgi
This should remove everything completely!
