RLs Weapon Chests

This weapon mod is another project idea that I began quite some time ago and have now finally completed. It was too large to add to my “Farewell Closet”, so I decided to upload it to its own site.

This is a standalone mod of some of my favorite weapons from Dragon Age Origins that can now be used in Dragon Age 2. I used the same concept that Adonnay and Lemmingofthegda used in their mod “DA2 Weapon Replacer Queen and King Edition”. My grateful appreciation to them both for their wonderful work.
Many, many thanks to the wonderful authors of these weapons. You can find a list of the original authors and their mods at the bottom of this description page.

The weapon chests consist of: Greatswords Chest, Longswords Chest, Daggers Chest, Longbow Chest, Shields Chest, and Staffs Chest. Each chest will have their items divided into sets. Each set will consist of 4-6 items. This was done to keep the mod as simple as possible and to minimize the amount of information contained in each chest folder. Refer to the photos for the weapon assortment found in each chest and the readme for script commands.

All permissions were granted by the authors or were given on the original mod site.

I will add to this mod as the mod authors’ permissions are granted.

Install:
========

Extract the .zip archive (s) and place the .erf(s)into your override directory;
(documents/Bioware/Dragon Age 2/packages/core/override)
Enable the console and add the runscript command, then the script name.
**Each weapon chest will contain “two” .erf’s, labeled “Part One” and “Part Two”. You must have both in your override for the mods to work. I have put the .erf’s into a folder titled: “Put in Override” for convenience.

Uninstall:
