Thank you sooo much for the one with the Amell crest! I've been looking for an equivalent of a romance outfit for Anders for a while. I can't wait to romance him again now!
This mod looks amazing! I've been looking for a mod that gives Anders a romance outfit like the rest of the romance options and this looks like the best I've seen. I have one question though. Will the Amell band show up on the sleeveless black outfit from request 2? If not I don't mind just using the original black outfit from request 1
Thank you, I'm so sorry for the late reply... It's been almost two years, but I will answer anyway.
Unfortunately the Amell band is part of the whole outfit's texture. It would be a rather simple Photoshop edit to slap it onto the Request 2 version of the outfit, so I could do it for you if you're still around. I just sort of forgot how to use the modding tools after all these years but it will probably come back to me. I hope!
Hello, I've been looking through all the files one gets with the doanload and I can't find the open dark + closed blue retextures with the Amell band or the default retextures with the Amell band. Where they for the requestor and the requestor alone, or am I just skimming over a file or two by accident?
The file you're looking for is called "Request 1". You can find it in the "MISCELLANEOUS" section at the very bottom of the Files page (under the "OLD VERSIONS" section).
For all the players that are seeking a mod to freely equip companions, Diversified Follower Armors by ishmaeltheforsaken will not work with this one (as has been stated) but Companion Armor Equip uploaded by scorpio0001 at http://www.nexusmods...ge2/mods/3349/? will. It also plays nice with many of the other companions and their mods and adds an appearance for a few companions, such as Carver and Aveline, while also taking the backseat to any armour mod that modifies those companions.
I think the plushy kitty staff is awesome! When I saw it, I thought AWWW!!!!! Because I can totally see Anders with a kitty staff. And the way it fits nicely with the Cat and Dark versions of the armour because of the kitty and paw motifs is fantastic. Plus it adds a healing staff to the game, which is something that the game does not have enough of. Thank you for this staff!
I see. Thank you for reporting the issue. The hands are also part of the outfit's texture; that's why they aren't compatible. Since lastofthecouslands' mod is a retexture too, I can't make a fix unless I mix our retextures into one. But then it would be like "stealing" her work and reposting it here.
I can, however, make a private mod and sent it to you via PM if you want. Which one(s) would you be interested to get mixed with lastofthecouslands' hands fix?
@Enjolras1832: You succeeded? Good to hear! I was disappointed you couldn't find some cat in Kirkwall and give it to Anders... especially when you have Merrill talking about some street cats you will never see. Ah well. Good luck with your revolution... now 20% cooler ^^
Figured out that issue thanks to your suggestion! I believe I had uploaded Looka's evolving staff first before utilizing your mod. It has since been removed, and everything re-downloaded. Now I can cause a pixel revolution in style. Thank you again for your patience and for creating this mod as it's the only way that my Hawke can gift Anders his cats.
@Enjolras1832: Were you using Looka's mod prior the installation of my mod? If so, the problem could be a conflict between the two files. The file I have provided is already a copy of Looka's edited staff. If Looka's original package is added, it can possibly override mine. I'm very annoyed because the computer where I used to play DAII is dead and I can't look for myself to understand the problem. I'm kinda in the dark here :/
As for Lirene's store, I discovered when working on another mod that it isn't retroactive. This means you need to put the "Lirene's store" file before starting Act II (or III). The store is actualised when you access to the next Act. It is a bit raging but I had no other choice since I don't know how to create a console's command to add it in your inventory whenever you want. What about the rewards files? Have you tried them? It works better than Lirene's store as far I remember.
Also, thanks for your nice words. I'm glad you like the mod, hopefully we will find a way to make it work haha
@SilverAxe001: I know, right? For the last time it is NOT supposed to be dead cats or anything. Just plushies, statues, or whatever. No animals were harmed during the creation of this mod :]
@ThatDude444: Have you ever received my answer by PM?
@palipride47: Your message is old I know but if you ever come here again, well, who knows? I have been "computerless" for months haha Unfortunately, no, there is no way to give Anders a "romanced outfit" because he doesn't have one to begin with It is a script thing, something you can't mod because DAII's modding is very limited compared to DAO and its Toolset. Anyway, thanks for the support!
I think I'm doing something wrong. I absolutely love and want this staff. I DLed the file. My staff is Looka's evolving staff used for Anders. I tried using the Looka Replacer staff, but the staff wouldn't replace it. Then I got rid of that file and tried adding the staff in Lirene's store, but she apparently wasn't selling it. I'm certain I was putting in and taking out the correct files throughout. Does it not work at all if I use the Looka's mod for Anders' evolving default staff?
