I'm new to modding so I thought I'd start with something simple and small. I create this to replace the Starter armor (rough leather armor) to Cassandra's armor. I changed this one since I already had multiple mods installed to change a lot of higher-end armors.

It uses the mesh of Cassandra which covers the entire body, therefore even if you equip various gloves and boots the look stay the same.

I kept the original stats of the armor (which is none) so itcan be customized to whatever class you want to give it to.

This mod Shouldn't interfere with any other mods unless it also modify the Rough Leather Armor chest piece.

Installation :

Simply put the file in your override folder ( documents/bioware/Dragon age 2/packages/core/override)

Either start a new game or use vaddin to add the armor to your inventory (rough leather armor)

Uninstall :

Simply Delete the file from your override folder

Issue : Since the armor is used by both male and female Hawk, if you try to equip the armor on a male character it will cause his body to become invisible. To remedy that, either uninstall the file or apply the mesh to another armor.
