As many other DA2 players I was very disappointed that neither companions' outfits nor their faces change between the acts. To create some illusion of passing years I copied/deleted different retextures and face morphs into my override folder every time after beginning of a new act. This was a tedious process so I decided to simplify it by making a utility for this purpose. ---------------
How to use:
1. Create Act 1, Act 2 and Act 3 folders and place in them mods you like to see only on one particular act.
2. Run DA2FilesCopier.exe
3. If this is the first time you run DA2FilesCopier you'll have to configure paths to BioWare\Dragon Age 2\packages\core\override directory and to the source folder with 'Act 1', 'Act 2' and 'Act 3' folders.
4. Press a button for one of the acts. It will delete all Act 1-3 folders that were previously copied to the Override folder and will copy the corresponding folder for the act you've chosen.
5. Close DA2FilesCopier.
IMPORTANT: unfortunately the game can't update its data while running so you have to exit game after or shortly before a new act, copy a folder for this Act by DA2FileCopier and then run DA2 again.
Tested on Windows 7. To run this program you need Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installed. ----------------
