A model set that addresses the issue of the invisible body when equiping Carver\'s Grey Warden armor on a female character. How to get it ingame

Matt1713s_Additional_Items mod has a Warden Officer armor set in it. I've tested it out and it works beautifully with this model.

A resource for modders is also available. The readme explains why I packed this mod in 2 erf files instead of 1 and a couple of things that you may need to know about the textures. The model files are included as well for use in warden armor mods that need to rename the model files.

what this mod does

This mod adds model files and textures to the humanfemale directory so that the item_variations.gda has a model to reference for the opposing gender. when equiping Carver's Grey Warden armor on a female character. If editing the savegame, using the uti file name for Carver's Grey Warden armor will give your character this armor.
This should be compatable with any mod that gives you Carver's Grey Warden armor, provided that the mod in question doesn't change the names of the model files.

manual installation

The following installation instructions below will be displayed in the licence agreement of the exe version. If using the manual installation option, the erf files must be placed in your "Program Files\Dragon Age™ II\package\core\data" directory. Simply extract the models folder from the zip file and place it in that directory. This method of installation will allow retex mods to be used on this model in the same fashion as any other retex mod is used for models that came with the game.

In order for this model to work as intended it must be installed in the packages\core\data folder of your
Dragon Age™ II program files. The default location is "c:\Program Files\Dragon Age™ II\packages\core\data"
though the location may differ slightly depending on your system and the options that you selected when installing Dragon Age™ II. When prompted, type in the location of the core data folder or use the browse option to select the location of the core data folder, then click ok. It is recommended that you add "\models" to the location that you type in or select. This will add a new folder to the directory that the files will be installed in. It is not necessary to do this, but it will keep the core data folder better organized and make it easier to find the file
should you decide to uninstall them.
Once installed, this model will work as if it had been in the game all along. Any retextures of this model that you download will need nothing more than to be placed in the DA2 override directory like any other retexture mod and they will override the default textures that were installed in the core data directory.
It is not likely that BioWare will release an update that will conflict with this, but the possibility does exist. In such cases, it will be necessary to uninstall this model set.
To uninstall simply delete the "hvy_fem_wrd_txtrs_V2.erf" and "hvy_fem_wrd_V2.erf" files from the location that you installed them.

-- The breastplate, shoulder armor, elbow pads, and gloves are part of the model that go in the slot for equiping the gloves.
-- The boots are the model from the female warrior champion armor and work as they should.
-- The body part of the armor is Bethany's Grey Warden armor. Due to the extensive amount of clipping, the collar was masked out and is no longer visible. This leaves a big hole around the neck which will not be visible when wearing the complete set.
-- The female version of this helmet is already in the game. So it has not been included with this mod and is not necessarily needed to complete the set.

This set of model files works a little differently than your typical armor set.
-- The breastplate, shoulder armor, elbow pads, and gloves are part of the model that go in the slot for equiping the gloves.
-- The boots are a female boot model that for some reason don't quite fit this model the way that they should. There is a small gap that shows through on the front side at the base of the knee. I solved this issue by keeping a part of the leg texture on the model used for the gloves textured. This took care of the gap and shouldn't be noticeable.
-- The body part of the armor is Bethany's Grey Warden armor. Due to the extensive amount of clipping, the collar was masked out and is no longer visible. This leaves a big hole around the neck which will not be visible when wearing the complete set.
