This is a minor modification for the ingame cat (house cat, ELF the player, ELF the pet) that will make it black with intense golden eyes.

To use this mode, just unzip it into your <documents>/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/override folder<br><br>if there is already a texture folder in there, just add these files. they will only affect the cat. If there is not, put this textures directory in that override directory.<br><br>If you want your cat to be the original color, just delete all of the "c_cata*.dds" files from the medium and high subdirectories under that textures directory.<br><br><br><br>Photoshop Experts (and other creative people): <br><br>If you want to create your own color sets for the in game cat, it's not too hard. You can create white cats, black eyes, rainbow cats... whatever your imagiination and your photoshop skills allow. <br><br>1. DL an addin to photoshop that will let you open and save .DDS files. google it. it's easy to find.<br><br>2. edit c_cata_d.dds in both the medium and high textures however you like. You can mostly ignore the other files unless you know what you are doing. (see http://social.bioware.com/wiki/datoolset/index.php/Textureformats )<br><br>3. save these two files in 1024x1024 size (in both high and medium) in the right directories.<br><br>4. edit image size and save a 512x512 version as c_cata_dl2.dds (in both high and medium)<br><br>5. edit image size and save a 256x256 version as c_cata_dl3.dds (in both high and medium)<br><br>6. you're done.
