Dunno what I'm doing wrong (or if anyone still checks this page), but for some reason the settings I input on the Setup Tools window when running this tool does not save my settings.
I have double checked my game path for importing and I have it set to export to an "experiment" folder in my override. For whatever reason, the Setup Tools settings do not save, even after I click 'OK' and the following window that says I can change those settings any time and that it is saving my changes comes up. But my import/export paths aren't saved, which means I have to configure all of my resource paths and the import/export paths manually every single time I run Gmax. Completely stumped here...

You're not running YAGG in snoop mode.

I thought I would just leave a comment here in case I'm not the only one trying to figure this out this late in the game, but the version here is outdated compared to the one hosted on BSN: http://social.bioware.com/project/2336/
The Nexus version will not work with 3ds max 2013, but the one on BSN will. Unfortunately the utility was never updated for 3ds max >=2014 so export is broken there, but gmax still works and you can still get it free from turbosquid.

Eshme thank you so much for all the work you put into creating and maintaining this! It still works like a dream, once you have the right tools.

I use 3dmax 2012 and this program for export of model but it doesn't work correctly- it imports model fine but I can't export it for toolset. When I begin the process I get this.

i've tried to close as much problems I can but it doesn't work anyway.
Is there way to fix that?

i've got a problem with gmax. it concerns exporting. i'm using gmax for editing meshes, just delete some parts which i don't like. importing works fine but when i try to export the edited meshes i can't find the files. yagg is running in snoop mode. the output path is clear. gmax says when finised "wait for yagg to finish up (can take long for big models)" but nothing ever happens???

@spawn00000 I initially had the same problem, if you are using 3ds Studio Max 2012 you can install a patch that fixes the export problem. If you have 3ds max DESIGN 2012 download Hotfix 1 from this link..

If you have the normal version of 3ds studio max 2012 download hotfix 1 from this link
