Has anyone also gotten the horrible bug with wynne's nightmare? I keep trying to leave but it keeps saying cant leave while in combat. I try to talk to her after and nothing happens :(
I am currently having the same issue, I've fixed it before with console commands to end combat. I will post here again if I find a fix that works consistently.
edited*: I have found a solution that I've successfully tested on 3 separate characters. My old method of using the end combat command line no longer works for some reason. Open your console command line and type:
runscript zz_cir_debug
this will open the developer debug menu for the circle of magi quest and its related areas, it will look like the normal dialog menu. Select 1. Jump to area >> 4. more >> 4. more >> 4. more >> 4. more >> 4. sloth in the fade. This will then teleport you and wynne to the final boss fight with the sloth demon. When you initiate dialog with the demon the game will automatically teleport the rest of your party to you and you would complete the boss fight as you normally would. Once that is done the fade should end after a short conversation with wanna be hero boy. The game should continue normally after this.
i could literally kiss you on the mouth thank you, this worked for me!! ♡ was so excited to be able to skip the fade and was so sad. i'm sure i just have another mod that conflicts or something.
Thank you for this mod. This is the single area that would have prevented me from replaying the game to experience the other potential player characters. Even the Deep Roads being long and rather tedious were manageable because I at least got to have my party and their banter. Once was more than enough. If you haven't already, have you considered adding an option to automatically apply the stat boosts the player would have received if they were to go through the area like normal?
I honestly was looking for a mod like this... Playing Dragon Age Origins for the first time since I played Inquisition first and I'm really enjoying the game but this whole Fade sequence is almost making me give up on the game... I am sick of not having companions and being out of potions and dying to 4 mages when it is just me. I even have the game on easy because I just want to enjoy characters, gameplay, and story but it still is horrible. So thank you for this mod!
Same. I played through it once and this is the level that would keep me from wanting to replay the game ever again. If this were an entirely optional dungeon that you do for the achievement, it'd be fine. But it just ends up being a long, tedious trudge through a labyrinth. It's exhausting, honestly. I just spammed fireball until I got golem and then tanked my way through the rest. It was fun once, but that's it.

Needless to say, the Fade is ass.
