I wonder if anyone is still looking at this, but when I try to dye the armor with udk, it just colors the whole set reddish, chain and all but the parts i expect to turn red remain black, anyone know what's up with that?

      Solved:
Leaving the original comment and replying for anyone else who might run into the same problem, the right dye options are under custom tints in the udk interface, the first one is the red one.

When I used the updater to install the zip, I got a message saying my game was not up to date as the mod was and I have the Ultimate ed. from GOG which I got last yr. Doesn't make sense

The Grey Fox was taken, so we used the Black Fox instead

Hey there - I don't know if you're still supporting this Mod, but I downloaded the latest version and the DAZip file seems to be missing. There's just a folder called "packages" with and ERF file. Again, no DAZip file. There's nothing to install.

    Any ideas, anyone?

    Thanks in advance.

I know i'm late, but in those case you have to turn the .zip file in a .dazip file .

Go to the custom tint creator. http://nezroy.com/DAOTintCreator/

Go into the utility and go into the "special dyes", then use the test pattern. It'll look crazy, but you'll be able to see what parts are "red channel," "green channel," and "blue channel." I think red is the leather, green is the colored bit in the pics, and blue is the chain, but don't hold me to this.

The leather doesn't dye well at all. White is actually dark grey, red is a reddish off-black, etc. I stuck with black for that channel.
The smooth, colored bits don't dye well either. To get bright colors like those depicted here, go for a straight, bright, eye-searing color. I set mine to 255 green, and it's actually a dark, pleasant green.
The chain and metal bits accept dye quite well, so I set mine to white so as not to distract from the rest, but if you dye them, they're pretty close to true colors.

My fox armor is grey. No silver chain, no red leather, just all grey. I dont know if it might conflict with another mod i have or maybe I need color pack or something... can anyone provide any insight?

It's Universal Dye Kit Compatible. So, maybe try dying it; like it says on the instruction page...

Like raulranma below, I like the chain mail/texture/look of the armor a lot, a lot more than the default light armor; would there be a way to change ALL light armor in the game to use your custom model? I'm looking through the erf files right now but I'm not sure how to do it...
