Bioware should have included this in the initial release. Thank you so much, endorsed.

Please help, I try installing this mod using the mod organizer and the dazip-tool, but it doesn't show anything.

Once installed and you're in-game, open up your skill menu; at the bottom there should be 3 new icons. Drag those to different slots on your existing quickbar (I usually set them up at the far right).

The "P" buttton (no horrible pun intended) is toggle that allows you to have the game automatically pause whenever you switch quickbars (or, when it's off [by default] the game won't pause).

The two arrow buttons will allow you to switch to either the next or previous quickbar.

Your original quickbar will have the designation "0" (= zero).
The three additional bars I get are 2. 3 and 4.

If you do not have those icons in your skill menu, check your installed content tab through the game's main menu and see whether the mod shows up and whether it has a checkmark.

Whenever I start a new game I basically uncheck all my custom -and promotional- content (with the exception of Qwinn's fixpack) prior to character creation. Once the initial dialogue of my origin story ends I make a manual save, exit to main menu and activate all custom content I wish to pop up -then load up my game.

(When I have multiple characters and I just saved my first manual savegame for my new character -and exit to main menu- I switch to another character and load up the most recent save; a message box pops up, stating this savegame relies on content that has been deactivated; DO NOT choose "Force Load". Instead choose "Enable Content". It's a quicker way to re-activate all your custom content all at once.)

Thanks you help me a lot, by the way can I disable the number that appears in the screen?

The number that pops up should also disappear again -quite swiftly; but no, I don't think it can be entirely disabled.

Personally, the number indicator is basically my point of -quick- reference; most of my characters are rogues and I generally use the 0 & 4 quickbars: 0 is for my melee talents and 4 for my archery ones.

Maybe I'll need 2 and 3 for an Awakenings playthrough -I really don't know, yet.

(The odd mage I play is really grateful for 4 quickbars; I put my sustained spells on the right side on all quickbars. Then the different schools of magic each take up the left side of a quickbar.
All quickbars also feature the spells of my two specialisations.)

The length of the quickbars -and thus the total number of available slots- rely on your sreen resolution; I have a 1920x1080 resolution. On my older PC, those quickbars were significantly shorter due to lower screen res.)

I can't decided which two words to use for this Mod:

    Frickin' Awesome

    or

    Life Safer

Either way... this is a MUST HAVE mod.

    Major Thanx to the Modder!!!

Maybe I'm just stupid... but where is the dazip file? When I click on the manual download I get a zip file that contains the Manifest xml document and the contents folder, but no dazip file.

Odd. I do get a dazip file with manual download. But I have no clue why you would not. Do you always get a zip file on multiple downloads?

I know this is a bit of a necro, but just in case anyone else has the same question:

Don't unzip the archive after you download it. Some browsers (like Chrome) will rename the .dazip to .zip when it's downloaded from the Nexus. This is a quirk of how web browsers interact with these kinds of files. If that happens, go into your "downloads" folder and locate the file you downloaded. Then, change the file extension from .zip to .dazip. Windows will throw a warning up, click OK to proceed with changing the file extension. Then, use DAUpdater to install the dazip file and enjoy.

Hm... anytime I scroll down the exact same abilities are there. And when I try to remove the abilities, it removed it from all 4 quickbars. Anyone know of a fix?

Has anyone managed to make this work with downsampled (DSR) resolutions? There must be a way to config this so that the bar does not become super tiny.

I'm not sure you mean down sampled because the toolbar gets bigger at 12 x 7. On my monitor at 1080 it gets smaller but its still readable and I wear glasses don't know what to say if your running at 2500 there weren't video cards that did that in 2009...1080 works very well on 21-24 inch monitors.Only time I used 2500 was for big flat screen TV's.But you might try 19 x10 or 16 x 9 that will increase the size of the toolbar... Honestly i'm surprized there are any comments at all in 2017 even the moderator hasn't been here since 2014.

Works fine with the 1.05 patch.
Works fine with Windows 8 (and 8.1)
    Works fine with Witch Hunt.

Yes, the Description could use a little more info on how to actually use the mod!

    1. Open your "Skills" (the "K" key)
    2. Scroll to the bottom.
    3. Select from the options on the new Skill "Advanced Quickbar".
    4. As tonyvn1997 said, drag the "Next" and "Previous" (and "Pause", if you want it) buttons to your current Quickbar.

    Repeat for each Quickbar!

(As the author said, you need to use "Pause" to be able to cycle the Quickbars when on the Skills page.)
