In this howto I will only describe the setting and changing of item properties through the Override feature of The Winter Forge.
This is the most basic – and most time consuming – but also most flexible way to create Items with exactly the properties you wish.
Since this is the most misunderstood feature I hope you can create your own Items with this hands on tutorial.
IMPORTANT!
This whole Overriding business will only work if you first change the appropriate option in the mod settings. Use the settings skill from the Forge skill list to do that.
