About this mod

A few beards for male elf and presets with a beard on them

Permissions and credits
Similar to my mod Fine Dwarven Beards, this adds beard options to the CC for the beardless- male elves.
Unlike the bearded dwarf females, this is not all that lore friendly. But neither are half the anime hairs on Nexus, so who cares. Maybe you are a paragon of hairiness among your fellow elves, part human, or the taint made you hairy, who knows.
Update: Dragon Age Absolution has slave elves with moustaches and beards, so this is lore friendly actually. ;)

I can't edit the character creator to add a beard slider as it seems to be hardcoded, so these are presets.
Available are the human beards 1, 3, 4, 5, Duncan's beard, and iconic Hawke's beard.
(Female dwarves can't have beards via preset, so I'd imagine partway through development someone made a lore decision about the elves but never removed the functionality.)

They will clip to an extent, but I don't think this is a dealbreaker on the player character who does not have a lot of facial movement.
The character creator will snap the the cheeks, chin and jaw to default values as it does with male humans and dwarves, though you can override them by tweaking those last.
Note: I have not tested the lod2 distance models, let me know if you notice anything wrong with them (like if they turn green and somersault off your elf's head)

How to Install
All files go in your My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override folder.

Download the main file. (required)

To make these appear in the character creator, download one of the presets file and drop it in your override.
There is one for vanilla, and one for Elf Update.
Make sure they're the only .MOPs with that name in your override, or they won't show up. You will then be able to select and modify the preset and make your warden in the character creator.

If you have an already made character or MOP you wish to use, you can add the beard line manually with pygff and NewByPower's FaceReplacer. (it goes in slot 3)- see picture.

Recommended mods
If you want to make your character in the toolset for greater control/ability to put stubble on them, DAO Toolset Headmorphs Unlocked is a must, as it removes slider snap.
