About this mod

This mod is a very simple override to the 'Wedding Ring' item that a female city elf gets from Nelaros' corpse in the origin. It adds +1 to all attributes, as well as the "Increase monetary gain" (the latter may or may not actually have an effect in-game). I made this mainly for myself, but if you like it, download it!

This mod is a very simple override to the 'Wedding Ring' item that a female city elf gets from Nelaros' corpse in the origin. It adds +1 to all attributes, as well as the "Increase monetary gain" (the latter may or may not actually have an effect in-game). I thought that the monetary gain added a little extra luck, while not being overpowered. The ring basically functions exactly the same as The Lucky Stone (one of the promo DLC items that adds +1 to all attributes).

I made this mod mainly for myself as I didn't like any other mod that added stats to this ring (either too specific for a class, or too overpowered). I thought I'd share it in case someone else is looking for something like this, and doesn't want to go in the toolset to make this.

Installation
Download the archive and extract it to your "Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/override" folder.

Uninstallation
Delete the file you extracted in the override folder.

Note: you can normally only get this ring in the City Elf Origin as a female (you find it on Nelaros' body).
If you want to use this ring as a Warden who is not a female city elf, you can add it to your inventory through the console by typing "runscript additem gen_im_acc_rng_wed 1" (if you want multiple rings, replace 1 with your desired number).

If you have any questions or comments, don't hesitate to leave a comment here! I am also open to creating similar mods that change the stats of various items in the game. I'm particularly interested in origin-related items, but might do others, too, if I find the idea interesting or simple enough.
