Swaps out player animations in party picker

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This is more a proof of concept, but someone might get some use or amusement out of it.

Swaps out the player character giving the camera a blank stare with a different looped pose.

There are ones with the main characters party picker animations. There's also some random animations I repurposed from the base game. Some are more sensible than others.

--
Base game party picker animations:

Swaps the players to use the companions animations.
A version for all the companions including DLC companion and Secret Companion.

In general, the female ones should only be put on a female character, especially Morrigan's, as the vfx is in the wrong place on the males and the pose looks odd. The male poses seem to look ok on the females, though.
You can put Morrigan and Wynne's poses and vfx on a non mage, the game does not care.

Unfortunately if you install a companion one, you end up twinning with that character and it looks rather strange. So I'd recommend using them in runs where you don't collect or use all the companions. Or where that character's animations don't appear, like Morrigan's in Awakening.

New animations repurposed from base game:
Should work for both genders unless stated.

Female noble loop - a dainty hand clasp. (for female characters)
Hand Clasp- similar, but unisex.
Kneeling - kneel, straight forward facing the camera
Tilted, Kneeling- the same, but away from the camera. Mostly stationary.
Bless- the blessing animation the chantry clerics use.
Hand On Hip - has hands on hips.
Lady of the Forest - sway on the spot like a jellyfish. This one's very long so maybe don't use it if you're worried about file size. Probably female only.
Manimal - Weird feral movements, Ruck's animations
Arms crossed- Has crossed arms at normal height.
Playing Dead- 'kills' your character.

They don't have an expression on their face- I suspect some animation blend tree altering could change that if someone wants to make their own.
It should be possible to swap out the magic VFX also if someone wanted to make something custom for a mage in the toolset.

Version for Awakening

I've packaged in a version for Awakening. It's easy enough to delete if you don't want it.

If you're curious, the Awakening characters actually reuse the Origins characters animation sets. See here for list:

Spoiler:
Show

Anders- Zevran
Justice- Secret companion
Nathaniel -Sten
Velanna - Wynne
Sigrun- Leiliana
Oghren- take a wild guess

Caveats

I haven't tested this fully.
As the player character is always 'selected', that's the only animation that will show up, with no intro or change. I don't know what will happen in a scenario where the player character is not auto selected. I have set up the custom animation ones to use Alistair's animations, so it should have something to fall back on. From my tests, I'd imagine it would just not load any animation at worst or fall back to default instead of crashing, but use at your own risk.

Compatibility

Probably incompatible with something that would replace the base game animations I've referenced, but there's pretty much no mods like that.

In theory the Origins version of this should be compatible with things that add new followers to the party picker, as only the player's GDA line is altered.
Also with things that swap the party picker location out but do not alter partypicker.gda.

However, the Awakening version was more problematic, as that GDA only tolerates being completely replaced instead of added onto.
I made this compatible with Ser Gilmore and Dog In Awakening because I know a lot of people use that mod. If you don't have that, it shouldn't do any harm.
So this would be incompatible with other mods that add companions for Awakening, though I don't know of any.

How to Install

Unzip.
Pick one folder to use.
Place your selected folder into your My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override folder.

If you don't want it in Awakening, or it conflicts with a mod, delete gxapartypicker.gda

To uninstall, delete the folder.
