About this mod

Takes away the immersion-breaking (IMO) staves wielded by the Assembly deshyrs during "A Paragon of Her Kind", with a few different replacement options.

Version 2.0!
Revisiting my first real port. ☺ It's long bugged me how the opening cutscene deshyrs awkwardly walk around with the new "staves", and I've finally decided to go back and fix it.
The deshyrs will now appear with actual weapons equipped, only switching to the staff / staff substitute for the crowning of the new king.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I get that staves make convenient and believable ceremonial props, but since at least one party member usually has the exact same model visibly equipped, I find it distracting every...single....time.
Also, rather amusingly, even though Harrowmont's Staff is supposed to be unique, each deshyr has one, regardless of which candidate they support.
So, I've come up with some alternatives.
1. Harrowmont's Fancier Staff: replaces the generic staff model with the significantly less common "Spellfury" model from Awakening (also appears in DA2, but let's just ignore that).  Affects the staves held by the deshyrs as well as Harrowmont's Staff.  Available with vanilla stats, or with improved stats more befitting a late-game quest reward.
pros: much cooler looking, very little chance of mod conflicts
cons: still technically a staff, requires Awakening in the OC (as well as Awakening, obvs)
2. Ceremonial Banner-staff: gives the deshyrs a unique staff-like prop, using a model from DAI.
pros: uniquely dwarfy! Also, eliminates that occasional vanilla glitch when crowning Harrowmont, where the dwarves fail to swap to their melee weapons and instead all shoot magic
cons: because of its size and majesty, clips when sheathed. Painfully.
3. Ceremonial Quarterstaff...thing: gives the deshyrs a unique weapon cobbled together from a couple vanilla maces & mauls. I called it a quarterstaff, because that's the closest weapon it resembles (albeit with MASSIVE HEADS).
pros: still very dwarfy, with no chance of dwarves using magic.
cons: maybe not enough pomp for the illustrious Assembly?
Must be installed before entering Orzammar Commons for the first time (for the entrance cutscene deshyrs to be properly equipped), or at least before entering the Diamond Quarter for the first time (for the assembly deshyrs to be properly equipped).
Will conflict with anything else that also edits the following:
