    Not sure if I mix things up but wasn't there supposed to be a Quest for Amethyne?

    My human noble still can't interact with her and it just breaks my heart. The warden knows exactly what happend to Iona but can't do anything to help her daughter T_T

    Just checked, plt_bhn100pt_iona is in my override folder.

      Nope, no quest for her in the vanilla game. And I know, it breaks my heart, too :'(

      I upgraded my PC, and I couldn't install MS SQL Server into my PC so the toolset do not work in my PC anymore to continue this project. I am sorry.

      Install the Toolset default with ms sql 2005... go on microsoft update and download the ms sql upgrade 2005 to 2008.
      It should work fine and compatible with windows 10 and 11.

      EDIT: not compatible with Cousland Armory

    Servant outside the room does nothing and just stand and after killing 2 enemies all rooms are locked. I am trapped in my room area

      Mainhall battle is broken. After gate break by fire ball nothing happens door is locked and a pitch black area is available which clips me into area outside gamezone

      If the main hall door 's broken, then you loose. This mods adds a timer and removes immortality from the guard leader that should keep the door closed. The next battle after the door collapse should be a loosing battle as I put high level troops at enemy side.

    This really became a must-have-mod to me. I can´t play without it. There is just one problem: An another amzaing mod "Unique Characters Overhaul" changes the armor of the guards. They have now a unique armor with Cousland coulors, but as you migt imagine, the two mods are incompatible. Once I let the other mods overwrite your utc files, but things just got messy. This guy with the meal didn´t show up as well as most of the guards during the attack. Now I play with your utc files, because I really love this mod, but I miss the others.

    Long Story, short meaning: Would you consider making a patch for this mod?

      I added some UTC files for the guards to make their appearances different each others, and most mods that change the equipment of the guards will only edit the original UTCs. And that make it worse is, that in this HNB mods, they're set to different AI script. I'm sorry I can't support the variety of guard's UTC out there, it should be a long procces,  starting with asking the author permission to edit their UTC, and so on. If you wish to make the guards of this mods having their equipment, you can easily edit the UTC files of this mods to make the equipment set just like what you wish. The tool 's GffEditor.exe, at Tools folder of Dragon Age, and use it to edit Equip_ItemList, make the UTC from Unique Characters Overhaul as the reference. Do it for bhn100cr_guard*.utc and bhn200cr_guard*.utc. 

      Fortunately, I have 2 days off in Real Live Jobs, so I can write some lines into HNB codes to address the issue on v1.08, but I should put half of the work into user to do it, by editing DragonAge.ini and renaming the UTI files. Please refer to the readme.txt to do it.

      hi, where are the UTI file's thats been mention on readme file ? I cant find it

      I meant I cant find from HNB folder or Unique Char Overhaul folder too (human noble origin folder):
      - For Armor  : cous_arm.uti
      - For Gloves : cous_glv.uti
      - For Boots  : cous_boo.uti
      - For Weapon : cous_weap.uti
      - For Shield : cous_shld.uti

      They are in the "3. Cousland (Pick one Helm only!)" folder of Unique Char Overhaul

      I edited the utc's by myself to make both compatible, I could send it if either of you wants it.

    Quick issue. I'm doing a run through of the human noble origin as a warrior with shield talents specc'ed and still received the greatsword when waking up at the start of Howe's Treachery. Any reason why that would occur when I have no two-handed talents specc'ed?

      Do you start the game with a sword and a shield, and still have them along with the greatsword when waking up? The chest near your bed should contents all of your inventory when you slept, so if you fin a greatsword in the first part of HNB then you should find it there. How about the Cousland Sword, is it a greatsword or a longsword? If it's a greatsword, then it is a problem.

    playing on nightmare mode and CAN'T win the hall battle, its not fun really, if u want the immersion i suggest you make Sir Glimoire more tanky like 3x/4x his current health/armor stats. the added timer mission is enough to punish a new player,  please dont add  the ridiculous battle with howe that we can't win. This suppose to be tutorial area not the end game boss battle.

      That's my point. If you see Howe, you're supposed not to win. Let me explain my position. When I played Human Noble Origin, I found out that it's ridiculous that in the situation that Howe's army 's knocking the main gate, I just can ignore them and spend hours just by walking around and collecting items dropped by Howe's soldiers. The game will be brought to Oshamar savely, except if the player  pushed the difficulty level so high that let all of the main party : the protagonist, mother and the dog 's knocked down in combat. It's too easy. 
      I think the door should be fallen after some time. That's why I add the timer. If youngest Cousland can't reach the main gate in time, the gate 's already fallen and the main army of Howe will punish them. Even if he/she and the mother can reach the main gate in time, they should keep Sir Gilmore alive to lead the rest of Cousland Soldier holding the main gate and buy them another time to reach the secret pass in the kitchen. Any failure of these tasks  (1. reach the main gate in time 2. Save Sir Gilmore and at least 2 soldiers 3. Reach the secret Pass in time ) will let Howe and his army to punish the rest of Cousland. Howe 's appearance is a fancy way to say that the game 's over and reload the game :) . And, yes once the player find out that it's enough time to collect up to 7 soldiers before entering the main hall (may be with the cost of ignoring many loots from Howe's soldiers if it's HARD MODE 10 minutes timer ), the main hall battle will be much easier.

    IDK about these people but amazing idea and i had no problem clearing the whole thing on nightmare and other mods to make the game harder.. Thanks for the mod boo

    If anything either nerf the light armor we get from the start OR buff the armor we get from the treasury

    I like the idea of the mod, but the fight in the main hall is pretty ridiculous. Maybe make a separate file without the fight for those who just want that to stay the same?

    I'm not the only one saying this the guards and Gilmore suck because they are "Made of Paper" they die when two solders on them making Gilmore and the guards stronger would make it easier for newer players or ones that are not so good or maybe make a option to turn of the Howe encounter or make him weaker (Like the ogre in the tower) a new player would vary proud of them selves if they beat Howe before the landmeet
