TEVINTER NIGHTS

9/16/20: Hot fix for Loincloth Fashion compatibility - totally my fault for forgetting to change the name of the variation file for the staffs. Please delete the Tevinter Nights folder from your Override and reinstall!

A total overhaul of all Tevinter NPCs encountered in the Denerim Alienage to appear as Tevinter should appear in Dragon Age: Inquisition and the associated comics - appropriately  named after the recently released collection of stories in preparation for Dragon Age 4, Tevinter Nights!

This package includes gloves, boots, robes, armor, helmets, swords, maces, bows, staffs and daggers for NPCs. I decided not to make the items readily available from a merchant, weapons stand or script as I am not a script person nor am I item stats person however they are all using base game items for properties just don't expect set bonuses. This is mainly an aesthetic NPC mod. It does not replace any base items either so the robe you loot from Caladrius' body will still be the same red feathery outfit.

Mage gear is also entirely modular!

Installation: Unzip contents of Tevinter Nights.7z into:

USER/Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/override

Do not install into the override folder located in the installation directory

NOTICE:
  • Should you decide to grant yourselves the items, they will only appear on human males! (Inquisition only has meshes for human males.)
  • Additionally, the mage helmet is not a complete helmet so you will be missing the back portion if you equip it without the accompanying chest piece.
  •  The chest piece WILL clip through hair unless you are bald. I may revisit to include a non-hooded version.

Compatibility: All items are brand new pieces so they should not conflict with any other mods unless they are using the same GDA line (see below) or file names.

It will conflict with any other mod using the same characters such as Improved Atmosphere. Remove the same named UTCs from IA and everything will work.

The only thing that is likely to have incompatibility is an included Veras (one of the Tevinter healers) morph; I've removed his hair so it does not clip.

Credits to BioWare for of course the series and Inquisition and to Eshme for the 3dsmax plugin.
