My very first (and possibly last) dabble in DA modding, so be gentle.
This is a standalone, cosmetic mod.
Replaces the default sun with a slightly more hazy and less bright version, which I think suits the world of DA:O better. The set includes three variations: in addition to the standard sun there's a version with a celestial object seemingly passing by, albeit probably not very lore-friendly. Also included, for any weirdos out there, is a version with a face subtly visible. This is DEFINITELY not lore-friendly.
Possible realism factor: Sun looking a bit more hazy explains why you're able to look straight at it without getting blinded.
Inspired by "hazy sun" by tmp7704.
Screenshots are from Lothering, some with a reshade preset active.
INSTALLATION:
1. Unpack the downloaded Afternoon Sun folder and put it into your DA:O override folder.
2. In the Afternoon Sun folder, unpack ONE of the three .rar files, so that the folder contains one version of the file defaultsun.dds.
All other files you can delete, or save in case you'd want to do some ungodly sun switching at a later stage.
UNINSTALLATION:
Delete the Afternoon Sun folder.
