Description:
=================

A set of very Ferelden-y armour will spawn after Alistair spills the beans about his dad.

Details:
=================

After Alistair travels to Redcliffe and reveals his royal parentage to the Warden, the player will receive a set of oh-so Ferelden medium armour and a very snappy helm indeed.

The gear is a green-and-black-ish themed recolouring of the 'Arms of Mac Tir' set, originally from the DA2 Rogue Item Pack II and ported to DAO by the most excellent Entopie, paired with a 'barbarian' style helm, culled from the base game and similarly recoloured.

The equipment is restricted to Alistair and all items are rune-enabled. Spawning at Tier 4 Veridium, the set can be scaled to higher tiers by the usual methods.

The stats of the individual pieces are:

Arms of the Bastard Prince
+2 dexterity
+2 armour
+10% spirit resistance

The Redcliffe-to-Denerim Trudgers
+2 willpower

Errant's Gauntlets
+2 Armour
+4% spell resistance

A Good Ol' Fereldan Helm
+25 spirit resistance

Equipping armour, boots, and gauntlets provides an additional set bonus of
+5 defense
+3 dexterity

with the set being most useful and appropriate for an off-tanking DPS/dexterity build, rather than a sword-and-board Tankistair.

Additional/replacement sets can also be obtained via the console. The script is

runscript give_tsm_bastard_prince

Known Issues:
=================

The gear does not spawn immediately after the plot-trigger conversation; it will, however, spawn on the first reload after that event.

If Alistair is not included in the party on the initial foray to Redcliffe and his background is not discussed at that point, the armour will probably never spawn, even after the truth is ultimately revealed. Ditto if the player brushes Alistair off when he initiates the discussion... the scripted spawn is contingent on a certain plot flag - ALISTAIR_MAIN_TOLD_TRUTH - and I believe that the arl100cr_alistair_origin Redcliffe conversation is the only opportunity for setting that flag.

Failing the intended spawn delivery, the set is still available via the console script. Likewise, the script can be used to obtain the gear pre-Redcliffe.
