Is there any way to make this compatible with SJC's Patchy Skin Fix? I love both mods and would want to use them together! Unless this mod already incorporates the improved change for darker skin tones?
I know I'm very late with this reply, but I guess if anyone else is curious, I tested both the "patchy skin fix" and "soft makeup" in the game. It does indeed fix the patchy skin issues on top of making the makeup look so much better, however, the face does not blend seamlessly into the head, so if you plan to make your PC bald or have a dark-skinned bald NPC around, they will look hilarious, as if wearing a fake bald cap. But I found an easy fix is to just borrow the pn_har_blda_0n and pn_har_blda_0t files from "patchy skin fix". Then you have the best of both worlds; beautiful makeup, no patchy skin, and a face that blends seamlessly to the head.
A little late for the party as always ... I have a problem . I put the file into my override but nothing changes. My override is overfilled woth mods , that's true but i don't think this is the problem since i'm ussualy strict about compactablity. If anyone has an idea of why would this mod not work for me i will be more than pleased to hear it. Also can i add it forcefuly in some way or overwrite the game files to make it work. I probably have another Make up related mod so that can be it too. If anyone answers i will be very happy <3
So much later still for the party that all the wine is probably gone, but do you happen to have the Patchy Skin Fix mod? That overrides uh_hed_maka_0t.dds. It would be possible to make a compatibility patch, since the makeup layers are on different channels from the skin tint and theoretically they could just be copied over.
