About this mod

Equips Isabela with the Admiral Coat from Inquisition so she actually looks like a ship captain. Requires Admiral's Coat by sapphim and vaelsmod.

Permissions and credits
A small equipment tweak that replaces Isabela's leather armour with the Admiral Coat from Inquisition. I made this a while ago and figured some people might find it useful as well, so here it is!

Please note that the coat is not included. You can grab it here if you don't already have it installed.

  • Admiral's Coat by sapphim and vaelsmod (main file only). It includes files for all playable races and genders, so if you're only interested in using it for Isabela and don't want to clutter up your hard drive, you don't need to keep everything in your override folder. Simply delete the files whose names start with df, dm, ef, em and hm, and you should be fine.

  • Download the main file from Admiral's Coat by sapphim and vaelsmod, open up the archive and unzip the contents into your override folder (usually located in My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override).
  • Download my main file, open up the archive and extract the .utc file into your override folder.

Please note that it MUST be installed prior to entering the Pearl for the first time. Otherwise, Isabela will still be wearing her vanilla armour.

Compatibility notes and known issues

  • Will conflict with any other mod that affects Isabela's gear (den200cr_isabela.utc). It should be compatible with all mods that alter her face (hf_den200_isabela.mor).
  • I haven't experienced this, but if all you see when meeting Isabela is a floating head, chances are you have a GDA conflict somewhere. You'll find a guide on how to solve this problem here.
  • Depending on which hairstyle Isabela sports in your game, there might be a bit of clipping with her coat.
  • Her sword clips through the coat as well, but it's only noticeable when looking at her from certain angles. If this really bothers you, tell me and I'll see if I can swap it for a second dagger.

Credits & thanks

  • BioWare for the original model and textures;
  • sapphim for porting them to DA:O;
  • theskymoves/kinlochhold for her tutorial on how to edit NPC equipment.
