To use it as a preset in the character creator, you will need to rename the .mop file to match an existing preset. This will override an existing one and give you the new face as an option. For more information on this, I recommend following the guide found here: https://fextralife.com/forums/t93791/how-to-replace-presets/
I like these, they look very nice. Question: Can't I just add these to a chargen file in order for them to appear in the character creator? I won't be starting a new game soon but would like to know. Thank you.
It has been a while since I made these, but as far as I can recall, tattoos cannot be added to the chargenmorph like other elements (hair meshes, color tints, etc) which is why they need a special work around. I may be wrong on that, but I was trying to find a guide that would explain it and found nothing. However, you can still use it in the toolset for face morphs without renaming it.
I tried to put these in. I put the file into my override folder and changed the names but all I got were pieces of the vallaslin. What I mean is...take the males vallaslin up there. I would have the upper leaf then tick to the next tattoo and have the middle leaf then tick to the next tattoo and have the lowest leaf Can you describe what you mean by telling me I need to change the file names individually with one of the 4 you provided?
Thank you! That is my usual suspect for Dalish elf female, Palia. I even made a custom skin texture for her lol. I'll upload her .mrh, mor, and .mop as an optional file.
