And, only has the Realistic Teeth & Whiter Vanilla Teeth folder. Are those 2 the full file of this mod? since it said "12 new skins that come in RT compatible versions, or vanilla with whitened teeth" in the descriptions AND on the point number 2 on the Installation instruction said "2. Delete the 'Realistic Teeth' folder if you are not using the Realistic Teeth mod, or the "Whiter Vanilla Teeth" folder if you are."... Sorry if my words are confusing, English is not my native language. Thank you kindly.
If you have the MOD "Realistic teeth" installed, keep the realistic teeth folder for compatibility and delete Whiter vanilla teeth. If you don't have the realistic teeth MOD, keep whiter vanilla teeth and delete the realistic teeth folder here.
The real realistic teeth MOD can be found here. https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1532
These look good on humans, but don't really do anything for my other characters. Just a heads up for those thinking of downloading it for their elven or dwarven Warden.
Thanks for the mod! It looks great. Except for some reason the freckles are only showing up on the first preset for me? Any idea how I might be able to fix this?
Seconding this. Zero mods used except for this. Off the top of my head and as an example, HF preset 04 and 05 do not show skin retextures (although the lip colours do). I'll keep trying though!
Sorry if it's a stupid question, but if I'm using jog's White Teeth mod, do I need to delete both the Realistic Teeth and the Whiter Vanilla Teeth folder?
Edit: I deleted the White Teeth mod, and from this mod I deleted only the Realistic Teeth folder. Works perfectly!
hey its not working for me, i'm using the CharGenMorphCompiler, but it keeps saying that there are bad references, and when i remove them and go into the game, the skins don't show up on the complexion slider. And when i don't remove the bad references and go into the game, it shows up all weird. and the CharGenMorphCompiler keeps deleting the chargenmorphcfg file everytime i use it, like its not in the folder anymore when i check it. and its not showing up in the DA toolset either. Please help!
No it still shows up all weird in the game i don't know it might just be colliding with one of the other mods i have, but the only other ones i have for character creation are for eyes, hair, and tattoos none for skins. Do you have any idea why this is happening?
They should not be conflicting with other face textures since they are uniquely named files.
Would you be able to provide a screenshot of what they look like in your game, please? Just so I am able to see how they are appearing
Also, did you remember to delete either the Realistic Teeth or Whiter Vanilla Teeth folder? Having both of them might cause issues. Only one folder is needed, which one you delete depends on if you are using Realistic Teeth or not.
Hello! im so sorry for suddenly disappearing! things came up and i was unable to use my laptop for a while, anyway i submitted a picture of what it is showing up as in my game. I even showed the chargenmorph.xml file and what is happening in the compiler. also i dont use the realistic teeth or whiter vanilla teeth mods. I hope this helps
Hmm, I had the thought that it may have been missing "0n" files that was the cause, but now with seeing the picture I can see it's definitely not that. I'm a little stumped.
Can I ask how you installed the files? Did you manually extract them into the override, or did you try and use Nexus Mod Manager?
Sorry I can't be a bigger help, I don't really run into face texture issues so I don't have any solid ideas on what the cause is. Though I feel like they may be in the wrong folder so the game is not picking them up.
I manually extract it and put it into the override folder, in the Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override section. maybe my computer just doesn't do well with chargenmorph files because i downloaded your other mod SJC's Skin Tones and i had no problems with it. I appreciate you taking the time to help me though
Same here. i suspect something is very wrong with the chargen file, as it conflicts with a lot of other mods, and gets deleted by the DAchargencompiler.
I installed this mod with a few others and character creation went seamlessly, everything is beautiful, but when i look at my character's figure in the inventory screen, she has no face. Just a black pit between her robe and hair, with eerie brown eyes. Im wondering if this is just something i'll need to accept or if i did something wrong during installation?
Do you by an chance use an ENB mod? I had the exact same issue and removing the ENB fixed it for me. You just need to delete the d3d9.dll file from the bin_ship folder
EDIT: Well shush my mouth, I didn't realize the game creates two nearly identical folder paths with the exact same names, one to My Documents and one to the Steam folder. Problem solved.
oookay, I'm having this same issue with multiple mods right now, but I'ma start here.
I cant' install this mod. I'm playing the Ultimate edition on Steam, so there is no 'override' folder for me to install this into. I downloaded DAModder, but when I try to drag and drop the unzipped file into the menu, I get the following message:
///
"Incompatible mod package
You are attempting to install a mod that is not compatible with DAModder. normally, DAModder makes every attempt to work with incompatible packages, but it is unable to do so in this instance. The mod you have downloaded appears to have various versions, or sub packages, or other options of which packages to install. The instructions for the mod most likely tell you to copy over the version(s) you want. DAModder does support such sub-package installs, but only in a DAModder compatible package. You might suggest to the mod author that they distribute the mod in a compativle package in the future"
///
I tried googling for answers on this issue, but ended up just going in circles. This seems to be a recurring problem with many possible solutions, but none of them seemed clear. I tried moving this into the DA Updater, but this didn't even show up in the menu. Any input is appreciated.
It's not .dazip file, plus there are two versions in the package, and you have to choose only one. That's why you can't install it by DAModder and DA Updater. No worries, it's really easy to solve.
First, create your override folder. Go to Documents/User/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/ and create a folder override.
Then, unpack the SJC's Skins.zip file, choose which version you want to use - Whiter Vanilla Teeth or Realistic Teeth. Put the folder with that version into the override folder.
Use the chargenmorph compiler. Chargenmorph is a mod that combines chargenmorph files from different mods, because there can always be only one.
