About this mod

Tweaked the Golden Egg Mod by Angel so the Awakening version doesn't overwrite the Origins version.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Tweaked the GoldenEgg_Awakening.dazip in Angel's Golden Egg Mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/904/?) so that it no longer overwrites GoldenEgg.dazip when installed simultaneously.

The original mod just copy and pasted the entire Origins mod (same file/folder names and all) and edited one line in Manifest.xml so that it would work with Awakening. Because all the files used the exact same names they would overwrite each other if you tried to install both versions at the same time. I added '_aw' to all the file names, a folder, and the Manisfest.xml entries. This allows both mods to be installed simultaneously. The functionality is exactly the same, I am hardly a 'pro' modder so I didn't want to mess with it too much.

I was originally just going to post a comment explaining how I did it on that mod page but I thought people would prefer just using the file I already corrected. Especially since most users of the mod are likely only using it because they don't want to fuss with slightly more technical things (i.e. you can just use the console to directly add gold). My version doesn't technically require the Origins version to function, but the whole point was to have both installed simultaneously so that you don't have to keep reinstalling them via daupater every time you go from Origins to Awakening

Installation:
- Use daupdater.exe - same procedure as original mod.
- Something I noticed that was undocumented on the original mod page is that you have to load up a save game for the 'Magical Goose' to appear in your inventory. It doesn't appear at the start of a fresh new game. Just quick loading the initial autosave will work.

Compatibility:
- DO NOT USE 'GoldenEgg_Awakening' from the original mod's page as it will conflict with this mod.
- If you only install my mod then the Golden Egg will only appear in Awakening. To add the Golden Egg to Origins download the main file 'GoldenEgg' from the original mod author's page http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/904/? and install it alongside this mod.

- I use it alongside Improved Atmosphere with no issues. If the original version worked fine for you this one will too. Again I just renamed the various files in the archive and edited the Manifest.xml so that it didn't use the exact same names as the Origins version, I don't really have the know-how to correct functionality issues.

Uninstallation
- The mod appears as 'GoldenEgg_aw' in your downloadable content list on the main menu. Simply uncheck the box to uninstall.
