For anyone who encounters this issue, this mod appears to be incompatible with unlock all 25 tactic slots mod https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/881?tab=description uninstalling that mod made this one work again... weird.
stressing about disappointing my companions and deciding which gift to give who is no longer a problem and i have this mod and this mod only to thank for that, so I just wanted to say thank you. I adore this mod to pieces and will carry it with me to the next life amen
Unfortunately this mode does nothing. I added a folder to override and put all files there and nothing changed, all gifts still have regular descriptions.
If you have to create your own override folder then your doing it wrong - you should use the existing override folder ...
C:\Program Files (x86)\<...>\Dragon Age Ultimate Edition\packages\core does not contain an override folder C:\Users\<your account>\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core is where the pukka override folder lives and should already exist
Really? Because My version of this game (GoG not Steam) came with an override folder in BOTH the main game install location AND the MyDocuments location. I put this in the -> C://Games/Dragon Age Origins/packages/core/override <- and it seemed like it was working? (at least the bone you get in Ostergar has the "Dog" indication of who it is for on it).
Soo... are you saying I should have put it in -> C://Users/<username>/My Documents/BioWare/Dragon Age/packages/core/override <- that's sooo confusing... other mods on this same site tell you to install them in the previously mentioned (main game install) override folder... when/how do we know where to put these things? Especially frustrating when mods like this one don't put that information into the main mod description on this site... =_=;
Gone are the days of wondering which alcohol goes to Oghren, which one belongs to Wynn, and which are the jewelries that Morrigan desires above everyone else. Excellent addition.
ETA: This got really sad when I played Darkspawn Chronicles and started collecting gifts that I could give to my thralls. "Oh, this wine would have been for Wynn...hope the ogre appreciates it..." "Aww man, these are Zevran's boots!" Heartbreaking, nice enhancement, thank you!

Added archive to override folder of DAO Mod Manager - won't detect
Extracted the download, made a folder (called it Gifts) and copied all the files into it.
