Adonnay's Daggers Rescaled
These weapons are the awesome work of Adonnay.
Some of Adonnay's daggers rescaled to a bit smaller, more dagger-like size. This mod requires Adonnay's Weapon Replacer to be installed first. All of these weapons were created by Adonnay. I simply rescaled them with permission.
This mod rescales daggers 2, 3, 5, and 6 from Adonnay's Weapon Replacer. I did not scale the Qunari dagger model, because I felt it was fitting for the Qunari to have larger weapons. They are a large people. I left the dagger 1 model as it is because I thought the long, thin blade was fitting for a Thorn of the Dead God. (I also just couldn't get it to look right rescaled.)
Installation
1) Download and Extract
2) Install to ".../My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/packages/core/override"
3) Allow it to overwrite the files from Adonnays Weapon Replacer
or
1) Use NMM and allow files to overwrite.
Note: I recommend saving the original dagger files from Adonnay's Weapon Replacer somewhere on your computer, so that if you don't like my rescaled versions you can simply overwrite them with the original versions.
De-Installation
Since these files overwrite those from Adonnay's Weapon Replacer, you can't just delete them or Adonnay's weapons will become invisible. You will have to overwrite them with Adonnay's original weapon files.
You can do this by saving a backup of the original dagger files before you install this mod. Or you can simply reinstall Adonnay's Weapon Replacer and allow it to overwrite my files.
Optional Dagger Placement
Inspired by "Hip-Sword-Sheath" from The Witcher 2 DAO by makara5656.
Places sheathed daggers and/or shortswords at the hip instead of on the back (see images). Some clipping may occur with armor. This file will conflict with any other BITM_base.gda file that alters daggers. Nothing game-breaking, but only one file can take precedence. If you find a conflict let me know.
To install place the the "Hip Daggers" folder in override. To uninstall, delete the folder.
Please download "sword sheathe cutscene glitches fix" from The Witcher 2 DAO by makara5656. It works for hip-sheathed daggers/shortswords too.
