BETTER MAGE RINGS
=====================
Improved stats for the Memory Band and Ring of Study. Nothing game-breaking, although they might be slightly overpowered early on. I just wanted to make the Memory Band actually useful, and the Ring of Study viable for longer in the game. Lore-friendly.

INSTALLATION
===============
Extract and drop into .../My Documents/Bioware/Dragon Age/Packages/Core/Override/

To Uninstall delete the "Better Mage Rings" folder from .../override.

The Memory Band is in your inventory at the beginning of the game if you have the DLC. You receive the Ring of Study during the Mage Origin. If you've already started a play-through or are playing another origin you can use the console codes to get them with the updated stats.

Memory Band: gen_im_acc_rng_exp
Ring of Study:gen_im_acc_rng_r06

Memory Band
=================
"Made by the Formari, these lyrium-infused rings are supposed to help apprentices retain their lessons. They work rather well--too well, perhaps, as less-capable students sometimes wear three or four per finger. This ring boosts experience points by 1%."

+2 Cunning
Increase Experience from Codex (by 50%, like the Archivist's Sash)

The Memory Band is supposed to help you learn better. "Cunning determines how well a character learns and reasons", so it seemed like a fitting stat. Also makes sense that it would help you retain more information from the books you read on your travels, hence the increased codex experience. ;)

Ring of Study
================
"Traditionally, these rings of lyrium-infused silver are given to each mage upon successful completion of the Harrowing."

+2 Magic
+2 Willpower

Just a slight +1 magic boost from the original, and some added willpower. After all, "willpower represents a character's determination and mental fortitude," and it takes a lot of that to make it through your mage apprenticeship.

As always, if you have any problems, requests, or suggestions just let me know. :)
