After a long time I´ll share my old mods again.
I had personal reasos to hide them, but I dont want write a long story WHY.
To be short: Modding went into work, some people werent not very kind and I decided it isn´t worth to share further.
But there are some really nice persons out there who support me and at the end I considered my desiction.
I´ve got a lot of messeges (why my mods are hidden, request and so on) and I lot of messeges I never read. I apologize to those peolple who don´t get an answer from me, but it was just too much.
Okay...enough with that....enjoy my mods and Happy New Year :-)
    Yours
    Shep

Well...I´ve finished reworking my Main HAIRSTYLE DAY Mod file.
All Hairstyles with long strands have now bone weight. It´s not perfect, but looks much better in game.

Don´t know when I´ve time to rework my "Headdress an more" file.

    Hi folks :-)

Because I convert new hairstyles to DAO I decided to reworke my old hairstyle stuff.
Risi have made a great tutorial with the bone weight stuff and I thank her soooo much for this ;-)
This time I´ll release all hairstyles which need a better bone weight.
Don´t know how long it´ll takes but the reworked stuff will defenitely come ^^

When I upload the new files I will reply all your questions which depends on the new files.
Wish you all a good time.
    We´ll see ya!!!!

The mod is causing my game to crash nonstop and if I disable it my character just goes bald :(

does someone know how I can make it stop crashing? The problem is not the compability with other mods because I uninstalled them all and this mod seems to be the problem.

I just can't get this to work.
I installed this mod along with a bunch others before and it worked great, looked awesome.  Made a character using it.  I still have the character and she still has the new hair.
Now in character creator I have no options for new hair styles.  I just don't get it.  Why does this have to be so hard.

Edit:  Of course, as soon as I post this I figure it out.  Isn't that how it always works?
I didn't know I had to open an exe for CharGenMorph Compiler

    Go to: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\dragonage\mods\DA_CharGenMorph_Compiler_v126-971-1-2-6-1634087524
Run DA_CharGenMorphCompiler.exe > Compile conflicting chargenmorphcfg.xml files into singular XML file > remove bad references.

This directory is probably different if you're not using vortex, I think you have an additional directory without vortex.
    C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override and then DA_CharGenMorphCompiler.exe

I don't get how there are multiple directories, or if all of my mods are working, but I have some new hair styles so I guess this one is working now.

DA is on crazy sale recently so I decided to buy it and replay for a few days to relive those good memories playing & modding this game. This is my favourite DA mod of all time! Thank you so much for being part of my teenage years. Wishing you all the best :))

Question about your hawk hair! It seems like the parts of the hair that are supposed to be shaved down (the side) it's completely bald instead of just shaved fuzzy. (I had the previous version of it before you updated it, so I removed the mod and updated as well and it's been like that ever since. I even changed the color of the hair just to make sure it wasn't because the color was too light.) Is this how it's supposed to be? (It doesn't appear that way in your example images!)

same here: P012b hairstyle shows up on bald head for HM, while it looks normal for EM.
P.S. apparently in your pics, both EM and HM look bald, but in game it looks weird. In new file, EM has short fuzz on his head and it covers bald spots in P012b hairstyle.
is it possible to give this short cut under your hair for HM too?

I found solution for the Hawke undercut not showing - it's 3 years later, but maybe someone will find this useful. My example below shows how to fix this for HM, but this can be done similarly for other races/genders.

      1. Open the chargenmorph file (for example with Notepad++).
      2. Scroll down to this part:
      < hairs >
      < human_male >

      3. Find the line with Hawke hairstyle resource:
      < resource name="HM_HAR_Hawke_0" cut="0" ></resource >
      4. Change 0 to 1 at the end, it should look like this:
      < resource name="HM_HAR_Hawke_0" cut="1" ></resource >
      5. Save the edited chargenmorph file (Ctrl+Alt+S), overwrite when prompted.
      6. The hair should now look correct in game.

I tested this also for EM and DM and it worked. You just need to find the right resource line in chargenmorph file and edit it as shown above.
For EM you would need to find this line:
      < resource name="EM_HAR_Hawke_0" cut="0" ></resource >
      and similarly change it to:
      < resource name="EM_HAR_Hawke_0" cut="1" ></resource >
      etc.
