About this mod

This mod contains the armor set of the White Magus

Permissions and credits
This mod contains the armor and weapons of the White Magus:
Gloves of the White Magus
Boots of the White Magus
Chestplate of the White Magus

Each item provides various bonuses. An armor set bonus is also present.

The armor set is mage-oriented which you can see by its stats, but it can be equipped by all races, classes and genders. Each item has a custom description and custom icon. No existing items will be replaced by this mod.

v1.0b UPDATE: Found a mistake on my part where I forgot to specify the item set bonus in the description of the armor pieces. The .dazip file
has been replaced with a version that contains proper set bonus
information in item descriptions.

Installation:
1)navigate to your Dragon Age install directory: ..\Dragon Age\bin_ship
2) run the daupdater.exe
3) click on the "Select DAZIPs" button
4) navigate to the folder where you saved the white_magus_set.dazip file, select it and click "Open"
5) select the white_magus_set.dazip file from the list and click "Install selected".

In-game acquisition:
The armor pieces are available for purchase from Bodahn Feddic at the party camp at very modest prices. :)

Design notes:

While browsing through the DANexus I found a beautifully designed set called the Ivory Tower and Nightfall Bloom (http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=645) by Moonwing. I really liked the look of the armor, but not the restrictions it had, which made me decide against downloading it, so I decided to make something of my own using the color combination of Moonwing's armor as a starting point (while this armor was made completely from scratch, I still thought I should give credit where it's due, since it was heavily inspired by the Ivory Tower set). In the end I opted for a simpler design with only a unique logo on the chest as a visually defining attribute. I decided to set the armor's material to "Leather", despite the massive armor model, so it could be easily equipped on a mage and instead added some extra armor bonuses to make it close in strength to an actual massive armor.

Compatibility:

While I can't guarantee this mod will work perfectly with any other mod out there, I can say that it works with the following mods:
- Orator Vestments by cgramnaes
- Armor of the Devout by cgramnaes
- Elven boots fix

The mod has also been tested to correctly import from an existing character save into a new game of Awakening, Golems of Amgarrak and Witch Hunt.
