I am using the 0.9 version that does not change when you acquire skill points. I am playing a Dwarf Mage and it works perfectly It did not mess up the skill trees for any of the companions It is not compatible with any other mod that changes or adds to the skills tree (I don't know if there is a way to combine .gda mods that alter the same file). The Dazip beta version did not seem to install anywhere at all that I could find in addins or elsewhere in the DAO folder.
I'm also using the 0.9 version since I couldn't get the dazip versions to work at all for some reason (no idea what I was doing wrong exactly), and it works perfectly on my warrior as well. Lockpicking and Stealth both show up under my skills and the only talents I see are the Warrior talents.
I haven't made it to other companions yet since this is a fresh playthrough, but I already like this much better than my other mod that had a complicated thing where I had to talk to Jory and then Daveth at Ostagar to unlock the skills, and it also gave me rogue talents for some reason. I appreciate the idea of a rogue-like warrior, but I already have a ton of talents to shuffle and this feels much cleaner and more natural to me.
So for anyone that is still using this in 2021 (like me) a short info: The only version of this mod that seems to work without problems is the *Rogue skills for all* version. If you are playing a mage and this mod doesn´t do it for you, I can recommend the Unlock Spell mod *Open Lock Spells* by jwvanderbeck or for other classes (Warrior or added classes) the Lock Bash mod by xatmos.
EDIT: Now I saw that this mod completely f*ed up my skilltree. And the rogues in my group can´t spot traps anymore. It seems to work good for warriors but that´s it. Wouldn´t recommend to install it if you want to play as anything different that warrior. I also cannot seem to uninstall it anymore (the rogue talents are still in my warriors skilltree, even after uninstalling).
Sorry but it does not appear to work. My Sten and Alistair got the entire Rogue talents/abilities but not my Morrigan and as you have said, it should have been a skill and not a talent, right?
Thank you for the mod but I believe I may have a conflict of sorts. Any chance you would know why the remaining rogue talents (those not moved to skills) are not hidden for a warrior? Or am I just reading the description wrong and they will be visible?
Thank you for making this mod. I recently dicovered this game on steam for a low low price of 3 euros. But nce i started playing as a warrior, i was kinda baffled that i couldn't open ANY of the countless locked chest that only a rogue can do apparently. So thanks for making this mod.

1. Create new character and save
2. Quit game and install mod
3. Et Voilá, mod works
Annoying workaround but it could be worse, thumbs up for effort
Doesn't work with mage class, only with Warrior class.I only tried with warrior.

EDIT: Ignore me, I just installed the full version, rather than the lockpicking only version. Good work by the way.
