About this mod

Not to be mistaken with Enchantment!!! These armor items are truly special. In that they grant the wearer sustained magic abilities.

Permissions and credits
Enchanted Armor

These items when equipped grant the wearer certain sustained spell abilities.

The spells are cast automatically when you equip them, and they do not cost any mana or suffer any fatigue like the original spells.

The spell effects are removed upon unequipping the item.

-------------------------------------------------

Currently there are two packages :

Fade Shroud

Enchanted Armor

------------
Fade Shroud is a hood that grants the wearer Combat magic.
If you have Aura of Might and Fade Shroud those bonus' get applied as well.

Notes : Because this is a hood if you use no helmet hack, you'll probably want the no animations. As every time the gui closes the cast animation is triggered. I assume that due to the way No Helmet Hacks operates.

If you have enchanted armor installed. And you experience issues, try the latest version of enchanted armor V1.1.

------------

Enchanted Armor has 3 item types, with two variations each.

Boots of Speed - doubles your movement rate, stats are loosely based on Bardic Dancing boots.

Gloves of Spell Binding - Grants Spell Wisp.

Robes of Rock Armor - Grants Rock Armor. Stats are early game mage robes.

There are two variants of each item. One uses my models and textures from the Oracle Mod. The other uses base enchanters robe and generic light gloves and boots.

The stats are set for early game. And thus I am not creating an awakenings version at this point, because the stats are too low.

Bracers of Spellbinding - Spell Wisp - use oracle models
Gloves of Spellbinding - Spell Wisp - Generic Light Gloves
Oracle Rock Armor - Rock Armor - uses oracle models
Robes of Rock Armor - Rock Armor - uses enchanters robes.
Bardic Boots of Speed - Speed - generic light boots
Sandals of the Dance - Speed - Uses Oracle Models.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Special Note :

PLEASE READ THIS.

You can only equip the items one at a time. If you try to equip all at once, only of the spells will get cast. This is due to the game engines command queue being limited to one command at a time. You can use all the items together. you just need to equip them one at a time. Open inventory equip spell wisp. close inventory the spell is cast. Reopen the Inventory add Robe of rock Armor the spell is cast. And so on. I reccommend equipping the gloves first as it casts Spell Wisp which gives higher spell power, thus when you equip Robes of Rock Armor, its effect is higher.

You can unequip them all at once. Without issue.

UPDATE: 10/17/10

Released Fade Shroud.

Updated Enchanted Armor to include compatibility patch.
this was just a precaution to keep the override folder clean and ensure maximum compatibility with Fade Shroud.
Enchanted items now have there own gui type in the talent window. The Vfx and animation remover overrides are include in the download package.

UPDATE: 10/14/10
Added compatibility patch. Unzip and add the folder to your override directory. It doesn't change anything for the end user. Just makes the mod compatible with other mods, that are overriding the equip/unequip event types.

-----------------------------------------------------------

This initially started as test case on my end to see what I could do with the Anakins Event Manager to fix one of my other mods, and then morphed into this pretty unique Armor Mod.

However, now that I have a process for enchanting armor, this opens the doors for many cool possibilities. To be added later in future releases. Things like massive armor of intimidation which gives you taunt or something. Robes of stealth, etc.
