VERY IMPORTANT: After daupdater finishes installing, delete anything starting with "talent_books....erf" from "...My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\data". If you do not, using the books has no effect.


UPDATE 2: Added respecialization books (the ones you may know from Awakening) to the package. Be sure to uninstall the previous version (either manually or using DAModder) before moving on to this new version.


UPDATE 1: Now compatible with 1.03 (works with 1.04 as well) patch and Awakening. Also, when you run out of books, you no longer have to disable & re-enable the mod. Just reload your save and you're done.


This adds 99 talent and attribute books, as well as 50 skill books to your inventory. Additionally, it also adds 50 respecialization books, which allow you to respec your character or party members anytime you wish. All of these items are stackable, so no need to worry about them taking up your inventory space.

Books that add talents, skills, or attributes can be a very powerful cheat (could even potentially break the game if you max out your stats), so use it with care. I personally only use these items to get my character proficient in more than one weapon type or mage spell tree; it makes fights a bit more interesting.


INSTALLATION:

- Open daupdater.exe (core Dragon Age folder\bin_ship)

- Add "Talent_Books_OR.dazip" and "Talent_Books_AW.dazip" (if you have Awakening)

- Highlight (both) the file(s) and click "Install Selected"

- Play!

Alternatively, you can use DAModder, which also allows you to uninstall the mod, should you need to.
