There is no information on whether or not a 4 GB patch needs to be installed for the mod to work. The recommended version states that there is no requirement, but the user comments say that a 4 GB patch must be installed. Without the 4 GB patch, I can already play the vanilla game without any problems and I can't trust it because I've never installed it before. I can't install something I don't know what it is just to make the textures look a little sharper.
Could get it work with patching the .exe but darn those characters were dirty. They all looked like they have been crawling on mud. Downloaded other retextures instead and no more mud! :P
I made the mistake of downloading this mod, and now my game won't run properly. I haven't been able to get through to Ostagar, even saves in the area crashes my game. I've had random crashes in various parts of the dalish origin, right before getting to Ostagar some hair textures during the conversation between Duncan, Cailan and my warden started to break and look really low poly. I don't know if i messed up the uninstall or if there's some lingering files somewhere. PLEASE help me
update: i was able to launch the game, it runs fine. alistair's model is jumbled with his eyes out of his body so i don't know what's going on!
Unfortunately, this mod caused my game to crash. I went through every mod (enabling and disabling) and this was the single mod that wasn't working. It would exit the game if I tried to load a save or start a new game. It might work on your computers, but other comments are saying the same thing I am. I am specifically talking about the main mod because the creatures, armor, and the other two work fine. Just the main file is broken.
But fighting the spiders in first quest the blood when killed is a square of glimmering redness that doesnt resembl much blood. Whats gone wrong? How to fix?
Dragon Age Ultimate (GOG) crash on load in Ostagar when i use this mod. I start the game as a mage, go through the prehistory in the tower and game crash upon arrival in Ostagar. Sometimes with graphic artifacts, sometimes without them, silently CTD. Everything works if I delete JB3 folder. I have 8700/rtx2080/32 gb - so that the system requirements are met.
