Came back to this mod a yonk later and honestly, kinda not worth doing the forge aspect itself. Highly recommend you just spawn weapons because if you're reliably defeating the mobs in the forge, you have better gear than the mod provides. Just use the console on this and call it a day. It's pretty neat gear
lmao, been so long since i played i forgot i had this mod installed, fought my way through everything, those knights sure were hard to hit on my AW, end up buying LK armor, not realising its human only, RIP Double Racism of Elf/Mage i guess.
Hey, maybe someone can answer me a little doubt about this. I downloaded the mod and reloaded a save of the last quest in Fort Drakon, just as you are getting to the room leading to the rooftop. Basically, i spawned all the items with the console command and then, when i walked to room leading to the rooftop, i had to fight two ogres and another mob, and almost everytime that i kill all of them the games crashes. I say almost because i had a couple of CTDs in the middle of the fight. I tried spawning the items in a couple of other saves and everything seemed alright, i had no CTDs at least. Someone may have some idea about this??
I actually had the exact same problem. What had happened on my end was I forgot to install both the dazip and the override file. Got so used to one or the other I didn't realize this mod had BOTH in the download file. Got the dazip installed and it works great now. Hope this helps!
can anyone explain to me how to install this mod ? I installed the files using the menager, put the files into my documents, but in the game dont know how to get them, the consle doesn't work !
Hi there. Try setting the affinity level to 1 processor: Load DAO, but don't load a game just yet. Minimize DAO and open the Task Manager --> Details tab --> Look for daorigins.exe --> Right-click --> Set affinity --> Right Click --> Deselect the use of "all processors" and just select one (any will do) --> Ok. These changes are not permanent like in-game changes. Every time you close the game they reset to default settings. If an area becomes too laggy or crashes, refrain yourself from using spells with longer term graphic interactions like Blizzard, Tempest, Death Cloud, or Chilling Tentacles/Wall of Perilous Flame (if you are using Offkorn's mods, those are really fun btw), etc. You can also try lowering the graphic and texture details (especially on high populated fighting areas and/or long fights), but I suspect you already did that. Hope this helps. =]

When I encounter a group of dread/lich knights, my computer starts lagging unfortunately.
Is there a certain type of system requirements I need for my computer in order to prevent this?
Maybe, if possible, you could tone down the details of the armors slightly in order for the mod to fit better with older graphic cards?
Other than that, I find this mod rather promising and interesting.
