The Bloodworks is a full module including two quest lines separated by a choice, new companions, new abilities, new areas and new textures. Fully voice acted for every line and has a Bonus Survival game at the end of the mod where great rewards can be earned if your Warden is up to the task.

Choose between a society of Blood Magi, the Crimson Blades, and a elite sect of the Templars, the Justicars.

For each path, you will have the chance to recruit a new companion, eight new abilities (4 for mages, 4 for warriors/rogues)

-Special Thanks to Questorion for Digital Audio Re-Mastering the entirety of the dialog in the Bloodworks,
and for Ponozsticka for the Justicar and Blood Golem textures!

Project Features:
-New Companions: Add Lucius the Blood Mage, fully voiced, to your party.
Lucius is both a Blood Mage and Arcane Warrior.

Or, if you're Chantry inclined, Chris the Templar will instead be available.

Both have vastly differing personalities and strengths.
-Choose between the Crimson Blades and the Templars in the typical Dragon Age fashion.

-New Item: Secret Book. These rare tomes will grant another specialization point. If you ever wanted to be, say, a Ranger Duelist Assassin, now you can!

-A rather humorous take on some of the Templars...definitely some LOL moments.

-A entire group of new characters to interact with - and if they have dialog, they are always fully voiced.

-New specs!
Crimson Blade: The Blood Mages of the Crimson Blades prefer to boil an enemy's blood from afar, but when the time comes they relish being able to personally sink their blades into their adversary.
Announced Spells:
-Blood Rend: With a flick of the Blood Mage's hand, the enemy is knocked to the ground by a fountain of their blood that instantly damages the foe, and heals the Blood Mage.

-Blood Push: As much as the Crimson Blades relish sinking their sabers into quivering darkspawn flesh, many situations call for their foes to be kept off-balance and at range. This spell does not knock enemies down, but rather forcefully knocks them back, staggering them. Perfect for interrupting an enemy caster from a spell, keeping an Ogre at bay, and more.

-Blood Ripple: Blood Ripple spreads the effect of Blood Rend from the first target to many foes. The drawback is a much increased cooldown, compared to Blood Rend.

-Blood Enthrall: The Blood Mage gives life back to a fallen enemy...only to resurrect it as a brainwashed thrall.

Justicar: The elite Templars undergo training to become Justicars, warriors and rogues both can claim membership in their elite ranks.

-The Justicar pulls the foe within reach.

-The Justicar unleashes a bolt of flame at the foe.

-The Justicar strikes the ground, stunning all within reach.

-The Justicar pulls multiple foes through the air towards his or her party.

-New locations - Experience the Crimson Blade's hideouts in places ranging all the way from Denerim to the Deep Roads, and who knows where else.

-Experience a new scale in warfare. Fight in battles consisting of dozens of darkspawn arrayed against your faction's forces.

-Over 500 lines of dialog and counting!

I am currently working as part of the DT:CoM dev team, an upcoming huge addition to the single player campaign that has hours upon hours of fantastic gameplay already.
Dark Times: The Confederacy of Malkuth can be found here: http://social.bioware.com/project/2157/

The Bloodworks can be found on the Bioware Social Network here: http://social.bioware.com/project/2101/
Remember to +1 it if ya like it :P

As mentioned above, there is a Survival mode available after you finish either of the quest lines. Depending on what round you can get to, special rewards are awarded.

To install, simply download the mod which is in .dazip format. In your program files ---> Dragon Age --->binship--->daupdater.exe can be found which makes installing these files a snap.

Once you've done this, head over to Denerim's map and you should see a Crime Scene location to go to. This will start you on the path, and shortly after give you the main choice of the mod: Crimson Blades, or Justicars? Blood Magic or Might and Armor? Chaos or Control? In the typical Bioware fashion, it is your choice to make.

Have fun!
